Ok so I have gotten into some newer hard shit...
Killswitch Engage
Lamb of God
etc, etc
anyone got other tunes I can check out from these guys...
so far from Killswitch I have downloaded
Daylight Dies
My Last Serenade
Walk with Me in Hell - Lamb of God...
some good shit and I am just wondering what other tunes by these groups you guys could point me to...I would post in the music forum but they only post about indie shit don't they?
I know there are some very serious hard core rockers up in dis beeyotch...
discuss...
TIA

Hey, I love Rush. Always have.
Just so happens I like a lot of that "indie shit" too. I'm kinda open-minded like that. Try it sometime. You might enjoy yourself.

Two bands I've been jamming some lately are Plain White T's and the Decemberists.
They're not hard-rockin' or anything, but I've been diggin' on them. They're a nice break from my usual diet of Pantera and Iron Maiden.
...and 90's Alt Rock bands.

Did I mention that Colin Meloy and Steve Malkmus, and much of the rest of the "I moved to Portland, therefore I'm cool" crowd hang out at some of the same places as yours truly?
Because I'm epic like that.
They just want to be Bohemian Like Me.

Well that and old 70's rock.

I seem to remember Pantera being quite well-discussed in this forum last year, so I'll leave that alone.
Ever check out The Mars Volta, SC? Excellent artsy-fartsy heavy shit.

Try the new KSE album and their last album. The last is called "End of the Heartache". Songs to download.....
Bid Farewell
When Darkness Falls
Rose of Sharyn
The End Of Heartache
Take this Oath
Breathe Life
Their new album is also really good. Download these...
Daylight Dies
The Arms of Sorrow
My Curse
I saw them in Austin back in Novemeber and it was a killer show.
Check out Children of Bodom. The song is "Are you Dead Yet?" Great tunes if you really like hard core.
