Does anybody remember, starting with the Rome board, I guess... (That's where I signed on...) Which boards, and in what order, we've all managed to venture to, and, for the most part, stick together through?

that sounds about right to me. though, i'm not first generation CFB like some of ya. I registered first on Smackchat in 99, or 00....i kind of remember doing it. I remember PSUFAN had a Mission of Burma sig line and i thought this must be a pretty cool board. Football and Mission of Burma, hey! about the same time i stuck with a handle on some Sooner boards....too. i used to "freelance".IndyFrisco wrote:Let me check my :rts:

I was on the Rome board back in 96, that was a good year since I got to drop smack on Husker fans before James Brown when out and beat them.
97 was a tough year there I talked a lot of smack before UCLA and then got creamed in route 66, that was a tough year all around. Back then I was Austin_Bill.
Not to nit pick on SoCal fans in general but from 97 to 2k UCLA fan was all over those boards then they went extinct I can remember only one USC fan now it's kinda opposite. I wonder why that is?

I think I registered as Jonindsm (or as some of you referred to me as "jonintobdsm" which was actually very creative I thought) in about 1999. I actually got my start in high school on an AOL message board and started talking shit about the Yankees and got my parents kicked off AOL for things I wrote (I challenged some Yankees fan to a death match and apparently if you get TOS'ed so many times they'll boot you.....who knew??) so I had to find a board that would accept my childish behavior........and so I ventured onto the Rome board. Started reading and noticing that there was a strong group of Husker fans, so I thought I'd sign up and talk some shit about the Big Red. That touched a nerve. They called me names, I laughed. I talked some more shit. They called me even more names, I laughed even harder. Good times!

I started out with Rome in the summer of '01. Started out as SpartanMick, lurked for awhile and started posting when 88 threw up his 3-9, ND to the BCS NC game post. First got into it with Babs, then lost touch when I started in Public Slavery...er Accounting and Webdog nuked the Rome board.
Had no idea where you mother fuckers went until I hit a link on NDNation that took me to the sooner terrorist recruiting thread. Laughed my ass off and then saw a post by skull. I rememberd it from Rome and sent him a message and he directed me to Trolls.com. I then went with everyone to scobode and now here.
Started Killian to be a troll, liked it betten than my old name and here I am.

Memory lane.....
I got my start back in 1995 on the original ESPN.com site. They had a chat that was live and got downright nasty before they changed the format to that tiered crap message board. Wandered aimlessly for a year or two before stumbling onto the Rome board. I have known many of you since then. It would be cool to see how our lives have changed since those first fateful days.

IndyFrisco (2007) - Married with children and you know the rest.
Frisco Aggie (1999) would never believe me, but IndyFrisco (2007) is MUCH better.
Rack life.

Shit, the wife and I are just opposite. I'm the morning person and she definitely isn't. We're punching the 5 year anniversary in July man and going strong. Of course, it's easy for me to say as I'm the morning person. Maybe deep inside, she hates me in the mornings.TheChief wrote:Fuck no I aint ready! Personally I went from the Rome Board to Elba to The Trolls to this place.
