Dipshits. I tell 'em that OU isn't a tournament team, people need to lay off of the Sampson / Capel debate, Longer freaking Longar isn't a lottery pick, and Jai Lucas probably won't sign and we need to move past him, and all of the OTHER recruits / players that left, and they get all in a hissy. Lame.

i don't know what you posted. I know you defend KS. I have mixed feelings about KS....but i don't have mixed feeling about the morons who post at the LNC board who bash the guy. they are just dumb.

Right about now I fucking LOVES me some Kelvin Sampson.

1st 20 win regular season since 2000
1st season to lose less than 12 games since Bob Knight
1st undefeated home season since 94
Has recruited more B10 state kids already than the 6 years of Mike Davis
Led the B10 in scoring this year
Started the seniors on Senior Night, something Davis didn't do unless the kid was already a starter
Initiated an awards banquet, something Knight cancelled many moons ago in a fit
Reconnected with the Indiana HS coaches, bridges Davis set on fire so bad even Sherman was impressed

I can't wait to see what the guy can do once he upgrades the talent and can actually leave campus to recruit!!!

I miss him, terribly. As a coach and as a person. I think that Capel will have this team making a run at a Final Four in 08, but I think that, by '10, Sampson may well have won it all. I'm so happy for you though, Shine... even if it's at my own team's expense. I hope that you're seeing, first-hand, what all of us Sooners liked about him all this time... at least the non-Cleti Sooners, anyway.
