Thoughts on Felix

I'm intrigued by the Felix poster on this board and I did some research on the subject.

Post length:
I searched about 75 of Felix's old posts. Half of them are single sentences or shorter. The other half are typically lists of several half-length sentences and lots of ..........dots.........

Post content:
Almost no content at all. If a Felix post did not exist the thread would never notice. You could delete every Felix post on the board and every thread would still make total sense. His posts do not æffect discussions. They just... exist.
It's not that a post must be longer than one line to be valued. Some of Python's greatest posts are one-liners. The format just doesn't work for Felix. For whatever reason he just sucks at it.
One third of Felix posts have at least one emoticon. When you combine emoticons with bland one-line responses you get LoganFan and I don't think anyone wants that do they?

Another thought:

In a different thread I commented on Felix's quarterhorse sig picture. Immediately thereafter he changed the sig pic to a tin grasshopper/locust/cricket thing. Why?

Theory #1: I was right. Felix does suck and he realized that a photoshopped .gif of a horse running on two legs is lame. Get it? A horse with two legs is "lame". Bwaha! Dang I'm good.

Theory #2: Uhhhh crap. Dang it I had a second theory. Really I did. That lame horse joke was just too funny and now I can't remember it. When it comes back to me I'll post it.

Through a little bit of research I found some posts by Felix at trolls.net. Let's compare them to the posts here.

The first few posts were a definite yes and then I came across the "Kill T1B" posts and became intrigued. I'm big enough to admit an error. sorry about that. I haven't searched for posts before. I didn't realize that's the way they were displayed. It's also totally my fault for not remembering your penchant for quoting a post and dropping an emoticon in response. I should have assumed that everything in the search prior to a smilie or a string of ........ is not yours. My bad, my bad.

I normally allow the Magical Database to track info but recently it's been on the fritz.

Do/did you know him off the boards or just on-line? If it was just an on-line thing, maybe he never liked you and has been plotting this for a while.
