I have been watching the games in high def at home. The IU/Gonzaga game is not being broadcast in high def here. Is it in high def where you are at? Unrack CBS for this shit.

Long story, but if you are getting the fixed feed, where CBS shows everything from the tap straight through to the end of the 28-point blowout, you will not get the HD broadcast. THis applies to the direct "market" of one of the teams involved (i.e. Indianapolis for IU, here in DC for Georgetown, etc.)

CBS's HD signal is for markets that don't have a team involved at that time and where they are zipping you around to whatever game they choose.

Thanks for the explanation. I can at least let it go. I was about to call my cable provider and ask them what the fuck was up. Still a total unrack for CBS. That is weak shit mang.

From what I could deduce, the CBS affiliate here in PHX is using their HD channel as just another extra channel to show games on. Right now there's only one game on, and it's not in HD on the HD channel. This is pretty fuckin' weak.

It's just as well. I couldn't have handled the Creighton game in HD anyway. Between Nate Funk, who looks like a cross between Shane, from The Shield, and a vial of Down's Snydrome, and that other cat that looked like he had a goatee with an asterisk, if I were to see them in HD, I'd probably claw my own eyes out.

Congrats, Wags. Good win.
