Feel free to discuss games other than the IU/UCLA tilt.

Those nightcaps are the best games of the day...including IU-UCLA, sorry Shine.

The best chance for an upset in the 6 earlier matchups, Vanderbilt is very capable of beating Washington State. VCU vs. Pittsburgh should be fun...Maynor vs. Fields is the key matchup.

Picks for today:
Ohio State over Xavier
Butler over Maryland
Texas A&M over Louisville
Vanderbilt over Washington State
Georgetown over Boston College
Pittsburgh over VCU
North Carolina over Michigan State

and UCLA over Indiana

I'd be interested to see how many Louisville fans are going to be in Lexington. The crowd advantage could push them over the top.

In a tournament game and I could have either coach, I would take Izzo. I still like the Heels still in the game...I just don't like State's bigs. I haven't liked them all year. The guards should almost cancel each other out but Hansbrough and Wright are better than any the Spartans can throw out at them. They couldn't handle teams with a good inside presence...Ohio State comes to mind. The low post play of Carolina will win out in the end.

Lotta brackets could get fucked...

I *only* have OSU going to the Elite 8, so a loss wouldn't really kill me as I have to presume most everybody has them going at least that far.

What a shot. You just had to know OSU wasn't going down that easily.

Conley will have to step up huge with Oden out.

I can't take another game like that... Holy Shit!

Hell of a shot by Lewis at the end of regulation.

Conley stepping up in OT... that's what I'm talking about!

Nice coaching, Xavier...

1. 2nd free throw (choked by Xavier) could have had defenders like a normal free throw
situation, maybe getting a bounce, or at least slowing the ball from getting up court.

2. 9 seconds left, up by 3, you don't foul with time running down? Worst case is they make 2,
your team is still up by 1 with a couple of seconds left....Nice choke job...

Holy fuck, tOSU did not deserve to win that game. But that win could spark a huge run. Oden needs to take Lewis & Conley out to dinner tonite. They saved our asssss.

I actually agree with the CBS guys on that one. The way the refs were calling the game, the no-call was the right one. Oden was pushing at the ball. From the tv angle, it looked worse than it really was. Coulda easily gone the other way though.

Xavier hosed themselves by missing the second freethrow... they had control and gave it up.

Yup, Xavier can't be pissed at anybody but themselves. Had the game in the bag and pissed it away on a free throw.

True, but had the correct call been made on the intentional Xavier would have gotten the ball back. That guy who hit the shot for OSU was money.

Yep, Xavier blew it. And here I was all ready to bitch about them fucking up my bracket, again. Seems like every year they throw a monkey wrench in there. Gotta' give props to OSU for taking advantage of the opportunity that was given them.

On the other hand, RACK! freaking Butler for handing it to the 'terps . Sweet 16, baby and I'm along for the ride. Is there a bigger sniveling bitch of a coach than Gary Williams? Fucker acts like his team has some sorta' divine right to get every call.

Glad to see the Big 10 and the Hoosier state teams come through today. Hopefully THE Hoosiers can keep it up tonight, but I'm not counting on it.

the last 6-8 minutes of that game felt like there were 2 minutes left.

i doubt that was the shot Rick drew up in the TO. before the TO, looked like Sosa did try and beat Sloan or Kirk (?) off the dribble and ATM adjusted instead of giving up the easy clear out basket like they had a half dozen times before.....and then it brokedown and Pitino called TO.

Wow, bad free throw shooting down the stretch has really stood out to me today. It cost both Xavier & Louisville earlier. Nearly bit Vandy & Pitt in the ass just now.

Jaysus, State is lucky as all hell just to be in this game the way Hansbrough is playing and the way UNC is rebounding the ball.

Neitzel is really stepping up.
