I callout thread started by a shit troll with .14 posts/day against someone who supposedly has an interview today (which hopefully means, he'll be posting in absentia for much of the day)...

... and peeps are pulling up chairs to this thread and :eating Jiffy Pop: ?

This seems like more of a :paul: thread, but I will defer to Prime's and ST's judgment, I guess...

Not to speak for Prime, but I think we were just looking for somewhere to unleash the epic  emoticons. Seemed like as good a place as any. Sorry, Rootbeer.

Congrats. Welcome to Texas. Now that you're wealthy, you'll appreciate the "no state income tax" thing.

Is there any room left down there?

It's getting kind of crowded here in LoCal and the cost of living is pretty steep. I'm thinking that Waco is starting to sound pretty good, or maybe LaGrange.

OC, I think marinerfan is trying to smack you. I know it's hard to tell, but he's doing his best. That would be income smack he's attempting. You see, he's posted before about how he owns $$-making biznesses and suchforth.

Rack R-Jack. marinerfan does have a claim to fame... it's just that he's part of the punchline of one of Caddie's many jokes.

If you can make a living at these places, I would suggest Marble Falls, Wimberly, Lakeway, Lago Vista or Bandera.

Did you have R-Jacks kid in mind when you posted this thread?

http://www.theoneboard.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=22920

It can be found in Trots, right below your previous lame effort to get over on OC.

What's your deal, man? I seem to remember you being a decent enough MLB poster back in the day. Still bitter about getting punked in the playoffs after that 118 win season, or what?

IIRC, marinerfan's biggest claim to fame in these parts was that he was the first to find the Jim Rome/Chris Everett video on the internets.

Kerrville beats the shit out of that dust bin Bandera.

Fredericksburg is nice.

Wimberley is good as well.

Naw, Bandera's a really nice spot. That's where my favorite swimming hole is at. The Medina River is clean and clear and the Cypress trees line the banks. It's awesome. Kerrville is a another nice one, as is Hunt...and Fredricksburg, for that matter.

This isn't a software programming job, it's more of a data mining job. Not quite as interesting as the former, but at least it's in the Healthcare IT industry and not just a bland IT job.

Bandera itself, to me, is no biggie. Now the drive between Bandera and Kerrville is the nicest drive in Texas.
