There's David Bowie all over the Wes Anderson movie Life Aquatic. Half of the songs are the Bowie versions, and half are some Brazilian dude singing acoustic sololike. Best part of the movie is the music.

i don't think it's half, but if i recall it DOES have the killer Mick Ronson opening power chord on Queen Bitch (from Hunky Dory).

the soundtrack has the first cut on raw power (the best record Bowie ever ruined--before he tried to turn Iggy into a crooner) etc. and the Seu Jorge Life Aquatic Sessions is the way to go, instead of the movie soundtrack.

space oddity is great too. and starman, rebel rebel.

I was actually in a big Bowie kick when that movie came out. They tried to bring Life on Mars to a climax at a certain point, but I didn't like it. The use of Search and Destroy was great. Also the aforementioned opening to Queen Bitch.
