SEASON OVER

Post by AcidQueen »

I am surprisingly OK with how this season has ended for the Hurricanes....

...cos no matter what, I will always have this:

Suck it, Haters.

Best of luck to all the playoff teams not named Buffalo, New Jersey, or Detroit--nothing personal, 's just hockey.

Missed the playoffs, and the Kings stole your best prospect to boot! ;)

No prospect is worth the experience she got to enjoy last year. For one spring, her and the other Caniacs were the envy of every hockey fan...I wouldn't trade that for anything. It's too bad the Canes can't defend their title.

AQ-
Aren't the Stars in your list? They are in your favorite state....Texas.....after all.

Seriously, Shoalzie's right on. I'd take a Cup if it meant missing the playoffs the next year...or giving up a great player. Back in '96, the Stars traded the great Jarome Iginla to Calgary for Joe Nieuwendyk. All Nieuwendyk did was bag a Conn Smythe (which Belfour should've won, but that's ok) and lead the Stars to Cup. Sure, I'd love to have Jarome in the Stars lineup but love having that Cup banner hanging up in the AAC even more.

Actually, my loathing for the Stars left with Captain Cheapshot. So Philly would be on that list if they weren't currently in last place.

Not having to live in N.C. .......... worth it! Props to you though, AQ.

I'm not expecting to have a winning team until well into the team's 50th anniversary.

Assholes need to make a run at JS Giguere.

Bwahaha! Which part? (I was born in Pacoima)

Debinitly wouldn't recommend raising children anywhere north of the 101.

Staples Center is a great arena though. It's amazing how many "non-fans" you can fit under one roof at any given time?

Welcome to the new era in the GBNHL.

Where for the first time in history, the two teams in the Stanley Cup finals the season before, both miss the playoffs.

Not much to work with these last few games.

Save that take for next season, and then we'll rock-n-roll. ;)

Is it too early to declare the Caps season over? I only axe this since they are getting a top 5 pick in the draft. I reckon a D-man or a replacement for Ollie are available. Fuck Sidney Crybaby's point lead, I would like to see him amass 82 assists with the Caps horseshit personel. Try carrying a team bitch. RACK Rat Pack.

Playing with Malkin, Staal and Recci After that, I suspect they will get a few more buddies together and make a road trip to New York for a pick-up game against Jagr, Shanahan, Lundqvist, and a few of their buddies. They should start somewhere around 7:30 tonight.

At least "The Next One" finally got his very own Semenko.
A doctor answers his phone and hears the familiar voice of a colleague on the other end of the line. "We need a fourth for poker," said the friend. "I'll be right over," whispered the doctor. As he was putting on his coat, his wife asked, "Is it serious?" "Oh yes, quite serious," said the doctor gravely. "In fact, there are three doctors there already!
