...Could your team use "stud" Turner?..bwahahaha..too freeking bad, Bolts will likely match any offer tendered! :D
"On Thursday, Chargers restricted free agent running back Michael Turner made his second visit of the offseason, stopping by the home of the Buffalo Bills. Monday Turner visited with the Tennessee Titans.
The Chargers maintain rights to Turner, LaDainian Tomlinson’s talented backup, after they tendered an offer to him at the highest-possible level, $2.35 million for one year. If Turner signs another team’s offer sheet, the Chargers have the right to match the offer and keep the fourth-year player or receive first and third-round draft choices from the team as compensation. The deadline for Turner to sign an offer from another team is April 20. If he doesn’t sign with another team by April 20, the Chargers could sign the running back and keep him or trade him."
Michael Turner on the road....

Too bad YOUR team isn't trying to sign the guy....he's head and shoulders BETTER than anybody currently on your roster.Raydah James wrote:

Actually mike, a more interesting angle would've been talking about why your Chargettes would even think about letting a guy like Turner go when Tomlinson is going to appear on the fucking Madden cover (See: Curse) this year.
Or theres this on PFT:
RIVERS STILL LIMPING
At a time when the Chargers are somewhat inclined to cling to backup running back Michael Turner in the event that starter LaDainian Tomlinson goes down with an injury, they might need to rely on a backup quarterback.
An industry source tells us that Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is still struggling with a foot injury that he suffered in the team's playoff loss to the Patriots.
Per the source, Rivers is out of the boot he had been wearing. But it's been twelve weeks since he suffered the injury, and it's not clear when he will be 100 percent.
Surgery initially was regarded as a possibility, but Rivers in the end did not go under the knife. Maybe, in hindsight, he should have.
The other quarterbacks on the roster are Billy Volek and Charlie Whitehurst.

When other teams know the Chargers will match any offer, then it just comes down to gambling on how much they can offer the guy without ever having to actually pay him, just so they can fuck with the Chargers' salary structure
