I think I’d have to go with Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64. Absolutely brilliant.

I reckon classically speaking Mendelssohn's awesome; I like Vivaldi - Four Seasons.
However, I'd prefer JLP, especially anything from
Open Mind.
