What COULD you do and who's fault would it be?
I have weapons at home. I have 2 9MM handguns with 15 round clips and 2 spare clips. I also have a Remington shotgun that holds 4 shells and 1 in the chamber.
I work in a building that is "secure". By that, I mean I have to swipe my badge before entering the building. My building has two parts, the main level and the annex. The annex is about 200 yards from the main building and it is connected by what we call a "gerbil tube".
I live in a town of about 11,000 people, but during the work day, there is about 25,000 peopl in the town...similar to what they have at VaTech.
Now, if I was a crazy ass fuck, I could store a 9 MM and my shotgun in my office. I could take the other 9MM across town and randomly shoot 2 people say in a parking lot I had scouted to make sure there was no cameras. I could then drive to my office and wait two hours. My office is no furhter than a mile from the initial shooting. I could then unload my 4 clips of 9 MM shells (60 rounds) and then my 5 shotgun rounds WELL before any security or police arrive at the scene. Our security here is not armed. I could even take them out if they happened upon my rampage. And I would have both buildings I could rampage on in all the while secured inside.
Now...I COULD do all this. And if I did, it would be MY fault and ONLY my fault. However, I'd like to go ahead and blame our Chief of Police, Mayor and Mitch Daniels. Oh, Bush too while we're at it.
What could YOU do? And WHO is to blame? Come on. Let's see you use your imagination.

Well if the government would get their nose out of peoples lives and allow them to excercise their 2nd amendment rights then they would do alot of good. Too bad those kids in VA were denied their rights.....Mikey wrote:If somebody did try to pull off a similar incident in your town would you be prepared? You've got 2 9's and a shotgun. Do you carry either of them to work with you? What good are they in a real emergency?

No. I have not applied for my CCW Permit in Indiana. I have locked up my weapons and hid them in the attic. Now that I have a child, I don't want my weapons readily accessible.Mikey wrote:If somebody did try to pull off a similar incident in your town would you be prepared? You've got 2 9's and a shotgun. If a similar incident happened in my town, I would do what I could to insure my own safety and the safety for those around me. If the freak occurrence that a massacre was underway in my town, that's what I would do. You cannot be prepared for something like this in everyday life. That's the beauty of America. This incident is the exception, not the norm.
Oh, and if terrorists detonated a nuclear bomb in my town, I would not be prepared for that either.

If he was smart he'd carry his lob wedge and a sleeve of Titleists. Nothing like a cooned lob wedge to take out a gun wielding madman.Mikey wrote:If somebody did try to pull off a similar incident in your town would you be prepared? You've got 2 9's and a shotgun. There's a coon.
Everywhere's a coon coon.
Ole McFrisco hates them coons.

It's all Charleton Heston's fault. I knew he was no good when he let Masallah die without forgiving him.

With all the horseshit around here, you'd think there'd be a pony somewhere.
Can IndyFrisco please get a move on and kill some people, please? I'm looking forward to a £100,000 windfall from talking about him to the media when he's offed a few people after bragging about it on the internet.

Hmmm.....
If I had to put an entry into the T1B Psychotic Shooting Rampage Pool...
I'd have to think on that.
At present, I'd be inclined to go with SoCalTrojan...but I'll have to mull this over.

I'm thinking the gunman is probably out to get me considering my debt to the Russian Mob so I need to act quick. I drop my whole bank account into Middle East Crude and haul ass to Iran. I talk to Ackmandinajihad and get him to kidnap a few Brits for a week or so and after I make bank on the price of oil going up I go back and pay my Russian Buddies after we all cash in and they let them poor Limeys go home. I really should get into the Atomic Centrifuge Business, I could learn a lot there in crisis management.

In SoCal it is good to have heaters at your home for the next set of riots. You never know which ethnic group will feel the need to steal shit and burn buildings down. If my place flames when I'm not home it will look like the 4th of July...
