Adam Ant's cover of "Hello, I Love You" and the Dead's version of "Dancing in the Street" are, BY FAR, worse covers.

Maybe it's just because all the Birkenstock-wearing, VW-driving skater/poets back in high school were all about them, but the Violent Femmes have always annoyed the shit out of me. There's not much terrible music that can compare to that stupid "Why can't I get just one fuck?" song or, god forbid, "Blister on the Sun."

I found both versions obnoxious, but if I had to listen to one of them again, I'd choose the GB one.

What - are you trying to lure PrimeX to this thread?

Mike - have you ever checked out Hallowed Ground? You might like that Violent Femmes album more.

I haven't witnessed the PrimeX being into anything quite that gay.
