The High and Tight Princeton?

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

The following conversation between two co-workers took place about an hour ago, roughly ten feet away from me. Just to give you some quick background info, these two guys are basically from the same mold - one is an ex marine, the other is a "wannabe" marine. I don't believe he actually served, but it's possible some minor technicality could prove me wrong on that. They both drive massive pickups, and but don't use them for work or for hauling hardly anything.

Yeah...those kinda guys.

Anyway, the subject of conversation was about each others' haircuts. It went down like this:

Steve: Nice cut you got this time. Real high and tight. Same barber?

Dave: Same place, different barber.

Steve: I'm due for mine any day now. Do you know the name of your cut? I learned mine is actually called the High and Tight Princeton. The origin must be from the university, Princeton.

Dave: I'm not sure what mine is, but I know there are several subcategories of the high and tight.

Holy fuck...I could've cut the gay sexual tension in the air with a plastic knife. I had to get the fuck outta there, and fast.

High and Tight Princeton? Is there such a thing? If so...why?

Those closet-cases are just lucky that they didn't talk like that in front of Greg Oden.

Just as long as I don't have to hear about a "high and tight" from a couple of Tampa natives, we're good.

This is the kind of thread you should have posted at .net. Did you enjoy your stay there?

I believe the crew cut originated at Yale not Princeton.
Well, I think for one that he was probably a closet homosexual. Who did a lot of cocaine. That whole Yale thing.
Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress.

Yes, the Yale crew team to be exact.

Sorry Goobs, there was no news link available for this, so I had to post it in narrative form.

I'm not enjoying my stay there, but the work must be done.
