Trent Green to the Dolphins for a fifth round pick

Post by Yer a Fuckin Jerkoff »

Here's where we find out the Green isn't that good. Plus he's like 37 or some shit. Product of that play-it-safe and dunk it over the middle to Tony G and hand off to Larry, and be protected by a badass line.

The Dolphins pony up a 5th rounder for Green when they should have just drafted Quinn. What a dumbass football team.

Chiefs on the other hand are fucked. Not only did Shields retire but now Green's gone. I just think they will be a bad team this year, but not as bad as the Raiders.

It's now REALLY official- the Chiefs won't see .500 in 2007.

Nice going, Carl. :x

You mean, like how they went 2-5 with him under center last year and got totally embarrased in the playoffs? That Trent Green?

And he was the key to KC not finishing above .500 this year?

Yes, it could get real ugly now.

Yup, that one.

Damon Huard MIGHT be able to get the job done, but I doubt it.

No, it WILL get ugly....for the 1st time in many moons I'm NOT looking forward to the upcoming NFL season.

Just practically speaking, KC's offensive line will be a large problem in '07, IMO.
Very mediocre defense, very mediocre coaching, very mediocre 'skill' players .... aside from LJ, who is still capable.
I don't see any reason for abject optomism.

Paul's right.
This is a sub-.500 team.

Jerkoff is right, btw, about Miami.
Trent Green is a nothing for them.

They should have picked up AJ Feeley. I read somewhere that he was better than Donovan McNabb.

Joey and AJ would be one hell of a combo...as long as they had Keenan Howry to throw to.

The Dolphins schtick of the last 10+ years is to play over-aged has been quarterbacks while not doing a damn thing to bolster the O-line that has needed improvement since the mid 80's.

Maybe if Marino would have retired two years earlier, they wouldn't have caught the curse of the mid-life crisis quarterbacks.
