Good for him...love him or hate him that is a heck of an accomplishment...

his style might be goofy (weak/tight) but you can't argue the results...59 total cashes, 11 bracelets...

congrats Phil...

was at the Rio Wed the 6th of June...WOAH...one of the 7 card stud events was going on...2-3 pros at every table...I enjoyed watching the Harmon, Negraneau, Brunson table for a bit...Ivey was smiling and chatting up the non-pros at his table and saw Ted Forrest at one table dude was smiling and just looking around and what not...some tough tables I saw along with the harmon, negraneu, brunson table...neat to see...had to have been at least 200 side game tables with all kinds of limits...

would like to play in a prelim event someday...my favorite would be the 6 handed event...

anyway just thought it was cool to see live...

Its really sad that with all of his success in WSOP events that his earnings doesn't even equate to half of what Gold won last year in the main event.
