with a four game suspension for 'substance' abuse issues. Fitting right into Auntie Alices' mold there! LOL

The only 'positive spin' to put on this is that the suspension was not unexpected.

I'm not happy about it.

The word spread pretty quickly around here, back in February when all this went down.

I was at a company meeting that day, and after our first break my boss came back in and sat down, leaned over and whispered in my ear: "Dominic just got taken in for DUI; he was doing over 80 MPH through downtown...." Without thinking, and without whispering back, I said: "you've got to be SHIITIN' me..."

Needless to say, we got a few icy stares from the HR lady who was up front talking, and the VP sitting at the next table up.

At the lunch time break she further explained that her sister called and left her a voice message during the meeting, because the story broke after the meeting had started. She couldn't wait to tell me, as she knows how big of a Colt fan I am, and since she is too.

At the time all we really heard was that he'd been out at a nightclub until about 4am (if recollection serves me right), and he got popped on the drive home. We were taking bets at the time, on how long it would be before he got traded, or signed with another team. Funny, it was actually my boss that first quipped: " Hey, maybe they'll send him out to play with the Raiders....."

It's actually kinda cool, having a female boss who understands and shares the "NFL addiction". She called me the Friday before the Superbowl, and checked to see if I had made arrangements to come in later on the next day, since I'd be up late watching the game.

Terry and you have much in common. Perhaps you could trade notes on how excellent it is to be submissive.

Tiny's a good nic for you.

Sorry, it was there, I couldn't resist.

Yeah, yeah.....out of context granted, but I guess I left myself open to that blast. Touché.
