4-5 first rounders

yikes. in todays game u need your first round picks, ask the blues they lost 7 of them in the 90's for signing a rfa, then a tampering charge, they had to build through the free agency and trade away prospect route, absolutely killed them in the end. u win by getting your franchise player through the draft and finding that sleeper in rounds 4-6.

gretzkys,lemieux, crosby, o, etc those guys arent around in the 2nd-5th rounds.

There's not much left in the offseason but this might be the biggest surprise of the summer...Jeremy Roenick isn't retiring and signs a one-year deal with Sharks.

Blues to make a deal within the weekend. speculation from strickland.

the blues have major depth at defense, and i expect them to move 1 for a center or another forward.

jackman could be moved, he will bring a lot in return, and the blues already have his replacement(ej). Polak has already proven he will take a spot in the top6, so they have 9-10 dman, and tanabe is a walk on tryout, so a dman being moved seems inevitable.
