OCmike's Humpday Challenge

There is only one rule: No more than one correctly answered question per person, per hour.

Please copy and paste the question along with your answer in your response to make the thread easier to read. Thanks.

1. What actor/actress do “Band of Brothers”, “Office Space” and the TV show “Standoff” have in common?

2. Who sang the theme song to "Bosom Buddies"?

3. How many bicuspids are located in the mouth?

4. What is the name for the valve that leads into the left atrium of the heart?

5. Leukemia is a type of cancer that affects what?

6. What famous singer did a character in “Office Space” share names with?

7. What college did future Denver Bronco Bobby Humphrey attend?

8. What is the official name of the Auburn fight song?

9. The 1983 Auburn Tigers compiled an 11-1 record, and were considered by many to be the best team in the nation. Apparently the pollsters thought otherwise. Who leapfrogged Auburn in the final poll to win the national title in 1983?

10. What is the name of the muscle which withdraws the testicle into the body when exposed to cold?

11. By what name is the "axilla" more commonly known?

12. The "Circle of Willis" is an interconnected series of blood vessels which sits at the bottom of which organ?

13. The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 1985 had the first two Heisman Trophy winners ever elected to the Hall. OJ Simpson was one of the inductees, who was the second inductee?

14. How many NFL teams were there in 2003, which had some sort of 'animal' in their names?

15. Who was the losing quarterback during the Cal-Stanford game which ended with “The Play”?

16. What 2006 stadium had the largest seating capacity in the NFL?

17. What piece of warfare was Jane Fonda sitting in when her infamous photo was snapped with the NVA?

18. Who was the South Vietnamese general made famous, in a photo, by shooting a Viet Cong suspect?

19. Austerlitz is often called the Battle of the Three Emperors because Napoleon, the Emperor of the French, Francis Emperor of Austria and the Russian Emperor were all present on the field of battle. Who was the Russian Czar that nominally led the Allied forces at Austerlitz?

20. The map of Europe has changed many times since the Battle of Austerlitz was fought in 1805. In what current country does the battlefield lie?

A Bill(s) isn't really an animal, is it? The logo is a buffalo but isn't that more of a symbol of the city? The Buffalo Sabres isn't an animal name but they use a buffalo in their logo. I thought the Buffalo Bills were a reference to "Buffalo Bill" Cody.

EDIT: I looked this up on a site that will remain unamed (wink wink)...

The question was "...had an animal in their names...". "Buffalo" is part of their name, even though it references the city, it's still an animal.

Mitral Valve

Not very surprising to see JSC answering the medical question.
actually, it is a bit surprising seeing as the imtral valve is not part of the gastro-intestinal system. I'll bet jsc alone has paid for atleast a half dozen vacaction homes for lousyanna GI docs. They probably got a hospital wing named after him somewhere.

Billy Joel - My Life
From Wikipedia......

The theme song for the opening credits was "My Life" by Billy Joel, although Joel's version was not used on the air. (The Internet Movie Database notes the cast sang the theme song, although this has not been verified.) Some reruns shown in syndication had a vocal version of the show's back credit instrumental theme, performed by Stephanie Mills, used for the front credits, with "My Life" removed altogether.

People are animals and 49ers (and Raiders and the like) are people.
Their name is the Bills not the Buffalo Bills.
