I once heard a story similar to that one in court (the person in question wasn't my client). The guy had been charged with a DWI. It was resolved by a plea to DWAI, a lesser charge, and the Ambien angle apparently had something to do with it.

I believe it is if you .04 or less since DWI is .08, it's make for a good plea if you're snagged in NY.

A few years back when I was working 3rd shift and having a fukk of a time trying to sleep during the day, the OL gave me a prescription sleeping pill that her mom got after a car accident she was in.

I don't know if it was ambien or what, but, wow, I got up in the middle of the "night" to piss and felt like I had just drank about a 30 pack. I was fukked up. Don't recall any cahk sukking urges though.

This is standard behavior from "republican" operatives. Why are you surprised? Start with the basics. The utterly perverse nature of the right-wing paradigm, as spewed to the trailer-park citizenry by such fatuous whores as Rusp Limpdick, is itself really a demand for aberrant behavior. Everything about its take on reality is basically backwards. So, when you find a button-down clean-cut energetic young man who appears dedicated to political activism--and these politics to which he is so eager to impose (upon you) are typically ANTI-homosexual rights, etc.--and he turns out to be a pole-smoking hypocrite....well, it makes sense. He and his entire paradigm are essentially hypocritical. Notice how these slime scandals are ALWAYS among the "GOP" ranks.

WEST LINN, Ore. (AP) - A dentist who drove in reverse through a parking lot and hit a family of three has told authorities he was on a combination of prescription drugs.

Deputy District Attorney Bryan Brock of Clackamas County told The Oregonian newspaper the drugs were Ambien, a sleeping aid, Prozac, an anti-depressant, and Demerol, a pain reliever.

Thomas Haymore, also an anesthesiologist, faces charges of assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

John Herbert, 37, was hit by the van this week and seriously hurt. His wife, Tracy and five-year-old son, John, also were hurt. She was listed in good condition. John has been released from Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland.

The family was described as out for an evening walk, and a red wagon was found near the crash.

Haymore has been released on $50,000 bail.
