Devotchka is the class of the local college weirdo/eastern euro punk/accordian Boulder-Denver scene. good live show.
that's a good gig. playing with those guys.
Gothic is a decent theatre style venue. i saw the Pixies, Fugazi, and Sonic Youth there in the early 90's (not all in one show, duh).
another Denver band to check is 16 Horsepower.
sort waits/cave/goth blues type stuff.
they broke up. but made a couple good records in the late 90's.
that's a good gig. playing with those guys.

I remember that you introduced me to Devotchka - I really like them! Guess they're playing some shows with Crooked Fingers. I'll be seeing CF on March 1st here in PGH...I wish that Devotchka was coming this way as well, but it's not to be.
