It might be needing some more headlight fluid....
You might have to run over there, to the store, to get some more.

I just had another one die myself, just in time for our Myrtle Beach vacation. It was pretty nice, but it was also pretty cheap. I am going to get into the $300-$400 range on the next one, in an effort to get a little better quality and a better warranty.

Buy a decent, but inexpensive camera so you don't get too pissed off when it dies in a year or 2. I picked up a Nikon Coolpix L6 for $125 (in Feb) and it has good features and excellent pic quality. I see no need to spend more than that for a digicam.

PSU, the difference in 1-200 range and 3-400 range is primarily feature/function/megapixal. They're in the same or similar bodies and internal components (small & light = not too sturdy). So unless you pony up for an SLR body style, you'lll still have life issues with the $3-400 slim/pocket size digicam.

I still have a Pentax 35 mm SLR that I bought 18 years ago. It still takes real purty pictures. The place that develops my film puts them on a CD for $1.99.

Seems they rather just lay there, get fucked and play victim
I use one at work, it has 10mpx and a digital 12x zoom with image stabilization. It also has a manual lens cap (I've had two cams die just because the auto lens cover fucked up) and it's lithium-powered. I might just get that same one, it's about $320. The zoom is the best feature, IMO.

I also have a $100 digital camera that I basically use for fishing. The auto lens-cover on that broke and I had it replaced for around $25.

DO the digiSLRs hold up any better? I wonder. I bought a pentax K1000 in high school. Took it on numerous extended backpack trips, summer, winter, you name it. It was fukking indestructable. Too bad it wasn't theft proof or I'd still have it.
The OL dropped my olympus digi and the lens popped off. We picked up a 100 dollar vivitar at the ellsworth AFB exchange in rapid city. It works great, but, it eats batteries.
I am contemplating picking up a digiSLR when the used ebay ones get to about 200 bucks.

Yea but you gotta make sure all the lights are on. If you're not sure this is what a proper funtioning flux capacitor is supposed to look like here's one for reference. If it does'nt look like this your camera is fucked.Sudden Sam wrote:First thing I thought about.R-Jack wrote:Did you check the flux capacitor?
