A) a complete and total buffoon, who wouldn't know when to just cut his losses (and try to save some face), or
B) a full-blown imbecile, who is desperately just trying to troll you, in some pathetic attempt to get SOME attention (even negative attention is still “getting attention”); then I don't really expect you'll get anywhere with this endeavor of your's, to show this cretinous half-wit how horribly this could end for him.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the whole Mark Cuban/Cubs purchase rumor that is floating around.

Last I heard he was still saying all the right things, about how the team wasn't officially up for sale, and no comment till then etc., but then I saw where he had submited an application to the league, making himself eligible for consideration, once the team is officially put up on the 'blocks..... Comments????

Why wouldn't they want somebody like Cuban? I mean, sure he's a little out there, and he's the first one to offer up an opinion when he doesn't agree with the status quo; but I would think they would welcome someone that is proven a fan favorite, a "hands on" type owner, and one who puts money back into the teams he owns.

I would think they would welcome ANYTHING that would give baseball a better, more positive image (after the last 5 years the league has had).

Baseball used to be "America's pastime", but now the arguement can be made that it has not only dropped below football, but basketball as well.
I don't know which product sucks worse right now: the NBA or MLB.

Yeah, we were really screaming "Bode" from the rooftops, huh? I think Cubs fans can be called many things, but unrealistic isn't one of them; we know the history....we've lived it.
We just enjoy the ride for the brief time that "our team" peaks during mid summer (if we're lucky), while the real contenders are just gearing up for the stretch run.
