Pick 'em chatter

I don't understand how Michigan is favored by 8.5.

That's crazy talk.
Those who stay will be champions.

personally, i think *as a bet* which you make and expect you may lose.....Miami +10.5 at OU is a good bet.

i've seen Sooner fan overconfidence bite Soonerfan in the ass many times in my 30+ years as a born and bred Sooner.

most recently--the 05 Orange Bowl and the 06 Texas game: "doesn't matter that Peterson is hurt, we lost to TCU and UCLA and we have no QB play.....Bob Stoops will outcoach Mack Brown and we will win. yee fucking haw! "

and this is earmarked just like one of those games. OU scored 79 on North Texas, we're the best team ever.

I don't think we are the best team ever but I think we cover. Miami's team speed on defense did not impress me at all against Marshall.

Bradford made me open my eyes with more than just his stats but the way he positioned the ball.

i hope you are right. i just have a feeling we better come to play. i will say Bradford can make a lot of throws Paul Thompson could not. i'm as big a PT fan as anyone, but he WAS limited. always the out-route to Kelly. Sam's gonna see some heat and needs to take care of the ball. If Patrick can go, i feel better about the run game. Murray is not an every down back. Patrick and Brown should keep UM honest.

i get uneasy when i see the Sooner boards overflowing with "blowout" predictions.

Why is LSU so heavily favored? I see them winning the game, but they're almost a two TD favorite. This isn't ECU. I think Va Tech will get up for this one.

PSU told me he was predicting an 11-4 game.
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

I just don't think either team will score many points. You know what, though...I could be wrong.
