U DUB v tOSU
a game that didn't get a lot of run pre-season now all of a sudden is looming large for both programs...for tOSU a chance to beat a team with some serious positive momentum, nearing the top 25, on the road...would be a huge win...
for U DUB...beating BSU and then having a chance to knock off 1 of the top 5 or so programs in the nation would be a huge boost to a young QB and to willingham's programs...
tOSU defense is mean and nasty, the O still needs work...we will see how U DUB QB works under some serious pressure and with a step up in D from the CUSE and BSU...
my heart tells me tOSU 24 U DUB 13
but my head is saying U DUB 24 tOSU 21 in a squeaker...
thoughts?

[Marcus]I think the Vest is a better coach than Willingtard. [/Marcus]
I think UW has the perceived mo right now.
I think Willingtard has trouble maintaining mo.
I think tOSU looked right past Akron this weekend.
I think UW's two wins don't impress me all that much.
I think the Big Ten is having a rough go of things this season.
I think UW wins in an ugly game.

justsayin that tOSU hasn't looked great and UW may very well be a fraud. I don't think either team will play well and the home field advantage decides the game.
To be clear, though. I'm still pissed at the terrorists for not flying a 757 into his house.

Huh?
They beat BOISE, motherfucker.
I mean, I learn a lot by reading this forum, and just a few months ago, I learned that BSU is the greatest team EVAR, and the fact they went undefeated against 2 decent teams and a whole schedule full of complete scrubs just means that BSU is the greatest team EVAR, and they were certainly screwed out of the Championship, since they obviously would have trounced Florida, because they rolled up a bunch of Pop Warner teams before that, and their lifelong record of futility against real teams is simply a statistical anomaly.
Fuck, UDub should be sitting atop both the AP and Coach's Polls, based on that alone.

Despite the fact that the Buckeyes didn't steamroll Akron, I was still impressed by their offense. I was also favorably impressed by Akron's approach to the game, as well. They didn't have enough to really get over, but they hung with them for a while.
I think the Wells backs are solid - Chris looks like he'll have a good season.
OSU is definitely a little rusty with a new starting QB, but they have their usual tremendous talent at WR, and in spots, they seemed like they were close to putting it all together.
I think OSU will win this game comfortably.

You pray that Osu wins this game. Your conference's best eeked out a win vs. UNLV....
This game determines if y'all walk backwards the rest of the season....
“It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.”
I'm not the most objective person on this, but I think tOSU will expose UW's "turnaround" as a simple matter of:
1. Syracuse sucking serious cock.
They were shut out by Iowa on Saturday and put a whopping 103 total yards on the board.
They were actually fairly effective moving the ball from time to time against Washington.
and
2. Boise State 0-13, or some such on the road against BCS opponents. Also they lost quite a bit from last year's team. You see how losing players can hurt a team like Michigan that pulls Top-5 recruiting classes year in/year out. How is Boise State supposed to reload, plugging in the hobos they find in gutters and thai orphans they use to replace their roster?
Washington started 4-1 last year too, beating Fresno State and UCLA at home and the media was ready to pounce on the Willingham/Washington's back bandwagon.
Now its Jake Locker. And while he might be a good player, the reality is that he's just a freshman, playing on a marginally talented team with a mediocre coach. They're Wile Coyote, and while they might be standing right now, they're going to look down and see no ground beneath them soon. tOSU's probably the team to start the descent.

i sure am GLAD that U think that.RumpleForeskin wrote:Locker is the real deal and the Huskies are playing with a lot of confidence right now. Washington wins 20-0.
Washington 20
THE--> 0
RuNple....you PICK IT--->$, golf balls, SigBet
or BAN? you want to M0d the NFL Forum???
Ohio State WILL NOT Lose by the SCORE of 20-0 to Washington.
I'll Take tOSU + 19!!!!
Looks like you finally stepped IN IT.......its TIME To Pay the Fiddler.......
BRING IT.
fishing aside.....Washington will NOT WIN by 20--->PERIOD.
C'Mon! +19!

Seer, I'd offer a sig bet, but I need to reserve that in case a Buffalo fan registers and brings some smack.
Really, it's not totally impossible. I have a cousin whose husband played DT for Buffalo and was the recipient of a Joe Paterno recruiting visit oh so long ago.

I'm hoping a non-Ohio opponent will motivate the Buckeyes in this game. It deeply concerns me that this team has not been able to consistently run the ball on either of their first 2 opponents. They have basically worn down both teams in the end. That's not going to happen against a true D-1 team.
The Buckeye defense is the key factor. They should be able to keep things very tight and low scoring while the offense gets their shit toghether. I have faith the vest will have things figured out by halftime and they will be able to score just enough, with good field position to pull this out.
The Buckeyes never have strong showings on the west coast and it's going to be a real battle. I predict a late score and a 20-6 win in a pretty ugly game.

you've got 3 posts in this Forum today (and 7 others elswhere over this Board)....and have FAILED to address my POST.
C'mon?
YOU say Washington Wins 20-0.
BACK it the FvCK UP!
tOSU's DEPTH is going to prevail in an UGLY Game.....just like everyone else has posted.
Let's SEE... a Sig Bet, $$$$, golf balls; or...if Udub Wins; i transfer NFL Forum Modship to you....but, when tOSU WINS--->you're GONE.
your Choice.
Since you are OH So CONFIDENT....feel FREE to SPOT tOSU some POINTS as well...WAIT....you've been MIA from THIS Thread today....
Sac'UP.
Washington was a bowl team last year before Stanback went down. This year they have a bitch of a sched so making a bowl will be tough. This would be an enormous win for UW but I doubt it happens. Tressel should get the W, though it may be another ugly W.
