No surprises here. All Rich Brooks needs is a little time, like say, a decade or two, and he'll turn a program around.

Brooks started last season with one foot in the grave and the other on loose-dirt, now Kentucky seems to be on the way up. Props to him. Ya Louisville was a rivals-game which can bring out an underdog's game of the year(see ISU vs Iowa) but Kentucky does have one of the country's best offenses. If Brooks can find a D then they could become something. Right now they are kinda like Tacho Tech-Appalachia.

Can someone explain to me why after Kentucky scored their last TD to move ahead 39-34, they didn’t go for two? They kicked the extra point for a 40-34 lead. Louisville came close to scoring at the end of the game, and a PAT kick would have given them the win.

Also, in the Alabama-Arkansas game the Tide trailed by 7 with a little more than 4 minutes left. 4th down at the Arkansas 25 yard line and they kick a field goal. Why would you not go for the first down? Arkansas had a chance to run out the clock for the win, and probably would have if they put McFadden back in. Alabama was very lucky to win that game.

Seems they rather just lay there, get fucked and play victim

Any 7 year old playing Madden would've known to go for 2 in that situation. There was about 25 secs left, and Louisville was pretty much guaranteed to have the last possession. Really quite mind boggling.

Maybe Rich was afraid that if they went for two his QB might throw a pick that would be run back for two points cutting the lead to a field goal.

Maybe he got confused and said "I was told there would be no math."
