I wasn't jon=bitching it
Was in Texas since Wednesday to visit family and attending a wedding so just now able to post o the "game".
Long story short...we suck.
We will be killed by tceh, Ou and Nu. t.u. will be a close game, possibly a win. We have no defense and an offense that is anemic at best. This will hopefully be the last year of Fran. Kubiak is a pipe dream and who knows if it is an answer or not. As well as the Texans are doing, no way we get him anyway. The pipe dream I am hoping for is Bill Cower.
This season is over.

We have been bandying Bo Pelini's name around for the ATM job. Your D would get a lot better anyway and he should have some nice recruiting-ties in Texas. I'd imagine he has a couple potential OC's in-mind, maybe some position-coach from his NFL-days.
This is year-5 for Fran, time for excuses to go out the window.

I'm just wondering what the obsession with how long it takes me to come in after a loss is? It's the same time as when Iowa wins. I usually check in around Monday win or lose. Let it go....
By the way, a few weeks back I told Chris Yoder to go into the OB talkin' smack and he said he would. Hopefully he did not actually do that because Miami's D-line made him look pretty bad. Wasn't just him.....the whole offense had problems with their Defense.
Franchionne sucks! Any chance he gets canned after the year? They gotta go in a different direction. Maybe a younger guy that didn't freeload off of Ladanian Tomlinson's talent and a guy that wouldn't go somewhere for 2 years and then bail on his team when the going got tough.

Cowher has never coached at the college level. It's a different ballgame and I don't know if he'd get used to the idiosyncrasies of the college game, or at least that he would want to do so.IndyFrisco wrote:Hence, the pipe dream.
Cower is an NFL coach, plain and simple. I think he could kick ass at the college level though.
Not to mention that he recently moved his family to Raleigh. Both he and his wife are NC State grads. I suspect he would've been more interested in that job (which came up last year) than he would be interested in A&M. Besides, he has a job with NFL Today, which has to be a lot cushier than coaching (and might pay almost as well).
If I were A&M, I'd go balls out for Kubiak. He's an A&M guy and he'll be a helluva coach. I'm not sure you'll get him, though.

In no way did I ever think Cower would consider the college game or A&M for that matter. Just throwing a name out there.
Kubiak would be great, but he's doing well at the pro level. If he gets kicked around a lot, maybe he goes to college and yes, A&M is a good fit for him.
BtH, it is not uncommon for fans to turn on someone they held in such high regard previously. Fran was considered an offensive genius in some circles. It is not showing. And the reversal on Fran is nowhere near the revesal that was done with Davis at t.u. He went from Satan to Saint when Football Jesus came to town in 2005.
