Question for LSU fan

Post by See You Next Wednesday »

Were you a little embarrassed to be getting so excited about the USC loss while your team was losing and then watching Florida march down the field ofr a TD? Yes, you won, but seriously, you guys acted like they decided to open a Hooters in your pants.

I’m not sure tOSU will skate through undefeated. The Big 10 is so tough, they just keep beating up on each other.

Fancy that. CBS has LSU's sos ranked 10th. In fact, looks to me like most of the SEC teams are top 20.

Who has the SEC broadcast contract, again?

Last year(final polls)...UF was #8 SOS in the Sagarin and #1 SOS in the warrennolan(which is opponents winning % and opponents opponents winning %)......no CBS bias there......

Priceless freaking post of the day:

Jsc810 wrote:Dinsdale, what team(s) are you a fan of?

(s)?

Dude... I only have one CFB team that I place before God and Country. But I see where you could get confused about that.

But to answer your question, JSC -- I root for LSU, Miami, Tennessee, Appalachian State, or whoever looks like they're winning this week.

Oh, wait... no, I don't.

That's you who does that.

BTW -- MY team is that one that's ranked several spots ahead of LSU in SoS.

And BTW -- LSU has the #28 SoS in the Sagarin. Florida, PLAYING IN THE SAME CONFERENCE, is #8. Auburn is #19. Tennessee is #5. So how, IN THE SAME CONFERENCE (and yes, I realize there's different divisions of the SEC), does LSU end up with that much weaker a schedule?

Because their scheduling is a joke, that's how.

ANY time multiple teams run the table, or there's a debate over the 2 BCS Bowl spots, LSU and the Beaters-Of-Creampuffs should be left out. That's the answer to the likes of the powderpuff schedulers... if they actually had to pay for it at the end of the season, they'd put a stop to their pussy-assed ways.

Hey, SEC -- I understand that none of your universities teach "geography," but the rumors are true -- there are, in fact, football stadiums in the Pacific Time Zone. Yes, I realize that all of the "scouting parties" you send Out West always come back bloodied and bruised, but that's how you learn about new places and stuff... you have to take your lumps. C'mon now, SEC -- don't be pussies your whole lives.... hop on a plane, like the rest of the country does. Hell, a few West Coast trips, and I'm sure JSC could probably find a whole new set of teams he has a "connection" to. Dude looks like a closet USC Fan, for sure.

Are you still whining about this???

I thought I was bad back when the Big 12 was overrated but dude....that's your only take...over and over and over....the same thing.....

Also, the SOS changes as the year progresses.

you answer your own question...the SEC East is comprised of Kentucky, Tenn, UF, USC, and UGA all ranked. Do you really have to ask why Auburn's and LSU's SOS might be lower????

Either you're trolling(horrible job of it) or just plain stupid.

Bet you any amount of money you want that LSU's SOS(they will have the SEC title to add and teh bowl game too) will end up top ten....chicken.....

Jsc810 wrote: Btw, the year that LSU plays Va. Tech is not the best year to be yapping at LSU about not playing tough OOC teams.

You thought this would help?

Priceless.

When called out for scheduling, you manage to come up with "b-b-b-b-b-but... we played a perennial underachieving team that always starts the season ranked high, then fades to the distance as the season goes team from a mediocre conference this year!!!! I mean sure, it was at home -- but we played at their house, too. Of course, we'll never ever ever ever ever play anyone outside of the southeastern United States, because jet lag and that sort of thing is a factor that can æffect winning percentage."

You come up with one (weak) example... fuggin hilarious.

Uhm, JSC... MOST teams hoping to contend at least try and get one decent OOC game per year. Don't fucking pat yourself on the back for doing it every third year, or whatever it works out to.

The SEC in general, and LSU in particular are fucking sissies. They portray themselves as such, and scgedule games as such. Save your fucking moronic "b-b-b-b-but...the SEC is too tough" stupidity. If the SEC is so superior, they'd have no problem proving it... anytime, anywhere, against anyone. But in REALITY, that's a ruse the SEC ADs pull on the retard known as SECFan, and even they know they can't compete with other conferences on a level playing field, so they do everything in their power to make sure that playing field is never level.

Don't agree with me? Guess what -- I'm right, and you're wrong... PERIOD. Not up for negotiation...

and there's only one way the SERC can come correct, and one way only... and here's a hint: It doesn't involve SEC Fan whining and banging their chest. It involves ADs and telephones.

Time for the SEC to put up or shut up... I'd be happy with either option. Schedule some real OOC games (you know... like in other regions of the country... like those other conferences do), or go play intramurals, brother.

OK, I'm busted. You caught me.

Since I'm going about racking up "moral victories" at JSC's expense the same way the SEC racks up W-column victories -- by picking on inferior opponents.

I suppose if I runned JTR, JSC, Cicero, and KCPaul in sequence, I could excuse my choice of smack opponents by saying "yeah, but I post at Smackbat, so I need to take it easy at T1B."

His team's conference doesn't need to play a CCG because all the teams actually play each other. What a fucking novel concept that is, huh? CCGs are a joke, and that's coming from someone whose team's conference does play a CCG...

Why don't you go ahead and remind me when the last time LSU played an OOC game in the Pacific Time Zone?

LSU is afraid to play anyone that isn't a creampuff, assuming that non-creampuff can't be easily reached by car.

Flap your gums all you like on the subject, dude. You can make all the fucking excuses you like, but there's this pesky little thing called "proof" that's reallyreallyreally hampering any defense you might make.

Don't like the criticism? Then fucking play somebody -- all anyone asks is that you play by the same rules as the rest of D1A... but that's too much to ask, apparently.

Jsc810 wrote:LSU has one of the most difficult schedules in the country.

#28 out of 119 is "one of the most difficult"? How about #118? Is that "one of the most difficult," too?

Too bad none of those SoS rankings that are popularly used take the schedule of creampuffs at home, and the complete fear of leaving the home region to play a game into account -- LSU would get much closer to the SoS ranking they deserve.

LSU Tard explains a lot about LSU Tard every time they post.

If you want to rank LSU something other than #1, go right ahead, have at it, whoo hoo. And if you finally get the idea that I don't care what you say or think about me or LSU, wow you really would be the sharp one then, and then you would finally get it.

And this is why LSU Fan, and SEC fan in general ain't too sharp.

So, JSC, what if I had an AP vote? And what if my fellow pollsters finally started growing weary of the laughable scheduling practices of the SEC? What if the pollsters started taking exception to the "always creampuffs, always at home, always in the Southeast" ruse?

Rest easy for now, since I don't get a poll vote. But if you think for one freaking second that the rest of the country, and the rest of the CFB world in general isn't getting near the last straw of that shit, you're sorely mistaken.

Play somebody. On the road. I can think of at least 4 teams in the PAC that do the "anyone, anytime, anywhere" thing... how many SEC teams do that?

Here, I'll help you out... NONE.

Champions are ready to beat the best. Pretenders hide from them.

Tell your AD that in this modern age, a phone call to Columbus, Ann Arbor, or Los Angeles doesn't cost any more to make than a call to the Middle portion of Tennessee.

And they got these newfangled things called "planes" and "airports" now. Sure, I realize there's a greater chance of running into them confounded revenoo-ers outside your cubby-hole, but that's how CFB is done these days. Maybe you should draw those strings between the tin cans a little tighter and spread the word throughout Redneck Sissy Football Land.

I guess I understand, though. A top-level PAC team coming to Baton Rouge would basically take ownership of a chunk of your real estate... and I know y'all's is still a little touchey about that. I realize the words "duck, trojan, and bear" sound a lot like "carpetbagger" if you say it with an inbred drawl. But the only burning down we'll do is symbolic -- we won't actually torch your stadium... this time.

So, because a natural distaster took out the stadium, LSU was FORCED to play Out West (almost), rather than in the confines of home WHERE THEY ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED IT???

Who cares why they played it there? The fact is that they did and they beat a ranked PAC10 opponent. I would love for them to schedule more games out west to shut dipshits like you the hell up. Unfortunately I don't make that call.

Uh, Benny -- did you happen to notice the word "schedule" in any of my posts? I used it a boatload of times, and I doubt there's anyone here with multiple, distinct strands of DNA that didn't fully understand my point about "scheduling."

But here comes Clueless Benny, with his defense of LSU scheduling.... by citing a game THAT WAS NEVER SCHEDULED TO BE PLAYED WHERE IT WAS. It took a fucking natural disaster to get LSU to play any sort of meaningful OOC road game.
