Georgia has not scheduled a game outside of the south since 1965
Auburn has not won a road game OOC this century
Florida hasnt played an OOC game outside of Florida in more than 15 years
When the NCAA approved of the 12th game giving SEC teams a 4th OOC game, the ADs of SEC schools petitioned the NCAA to allow them to play more D2 and D1aa teams
Ohio State and Michigan both left the ranks of teams to have never played a D1aa team this season, of the 6 teams left that have still not played 1aa teams, 5 of them are from the Pac 10

OSU fan has come correct this year about scheduling...many times in the preseason...we have all made our thoughts known about how horrible it was...but face it...
Washington was scheduled when they were making rose bowls and winning 9-11 games a year...Syracuse was on the schedule but dropped us...we scheduled that back when they were deece...I make no bones about this year at all...but to think that PSU, Wisconsin, ILL, MSU, and Michigan are just going to be cake walks is absurd...
we got
USC 08/09
Miami of FL 10/11
KAL 12/13
Va Tech 14/15
Oklahoma 16/17
we are scheduling ONE major home and home for the foreseeable future...i hope SEC fan doesn't give tOSU a chance this year and an SEC team plays for the MNC (long way to go fellas)...how quickly we forget last year...
also I have watched a TON of SEC football this year and there isn't much in that conference that impressess me outside of LSU and maybe UF...that Auburn/Ark game WAS PAINFUL to watch...and UGA JUMPING on the Vandy star...I guess when you beat a doormat by 3 you should celebrate...whatever
paging can we get a playoff troll...I hate talking about this sit over and over...teams play who are on their schedule period...the computers, polls, etc are all jumbled and you get the BCS rankings...don't hate tOSU, USF, BC, etc...hate the stupid mother fuckers who push that shit down our throats...
and for those of you who haven't seen tOSU play they remind us a lot of the 2002 and you know how that turned out...the defense is very fast and good...and a opportunistic offense...just sayin...

The Big Ten is a fucking joke and you know it. There's a huge difference......we are talking about the SE-Fucking-C!!! There are NO days off.....no conference has the week in and week out grind....maybe the Pac-10. You have the 72nd schedule. That sir is laughable. I have my doubts that we will even have a one loss SEC champ this year. That's how fucking large we are....that's how freaking tough it is.

Vandy, Miss State, Ole Miss, and in most years Kentucky a GRIND...are you serious?
All i am saying is don't give tOSU a chance should they get there...
why do you guys act like the players that play for a Big 10 school are suddenly shit when they go to Big 10 schools...and oh by the way...can you tell me the head 2 head record in the bowl game for this PAST BOWL season...you know since scoreboard matters...that would be Big 10 2 SEC 1...
again this is old...I was just defending my Buckeyes from the pathetic backlash from people like you as you would and have done trying to rationalize UF being a top 10-15 team...and you go ballistic and cry about how we are all stupid...
FACT tOSU's schedule is shitty
FACT tOSU has won 7 out of 12 games (still have 5 to go)
FACT tOSU did beat UW at UW and Purdue at Purde
FACT does it really fucking matter 7 games in?

Fuck UF...this has NOTHING to do with UF. Where did I mention UF>? No where....not once.....again, another deflection because everything I am saying is true. You don't like it...so fucking what? No one likes me in here anyhow....I could give a fuck...I do know that the SEC is hands down the best conference in football. ANyone selling anything else is full of shit. Vandy just had Jay Cutler....Woodson this year for KU.....you can get beat on any week....that's the amount of talent in our conference.
Scoreboard? BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
41-14
Take a pic dude.
PS I'll ask again.....are you saying that because you went 2-1 last year that the Big ten is a better conference? If so, be prepared. Go ahead....

So it's Ohio State again, huh? With nobody on their schedule worth a shit. Great. So they're in. Nice OOC schedule there, Buckeyes. Might as well write the Big Ten champ in every year if OSU, UM, etc. keep this pissant OOC scheduling going. Well, if not for Appalachian State anyway.
Who will it be opposite them for all the marbles? Hmmmmm....this is gonna get really interesting down the stretch.
Oregon? Easily could happen
LSU? Gonna be tough now, but if they win the SEC championship game...
USF? WOW! Not so far-fetched any more, is it?
Cal? Weak.
Boston College? Puh-leeze
Board bitch write in candidate says what?
Look fucko, Your squad is 'bama, in a few years you may be in the big picture. Until then, get in the backseat you've been in since Bear croaked. Coat-tailing the decent team in your overrated conference will get you nowhere with those in the know.
SEC honk talking OOC shit is akin to Ryan Leaf's best seller "winning in the NFL". STFU!! The next big 'bama OOC win will be the first of my memory.

[SEC logic]Because we said so. [/SEC logic]Sudden Sam wrote:MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:It's close, but not quite equal.
Was this in reference to Alabama-Oklahoma's home and home? That's not equal to Ohio State playing Texas home and home from the standpoint of OOC scheduling by Alabama?!
How so?

Sudden Sam wrote:Dins...playing Oklahoma in Norman is far more treacherous than playing your Ducks in Eugene.
At the time many of the current bigtime H&Hs were scheduled, Oregon hadn't lost a game at home in a few years.
Tell me you knew?
Hell, they had to pay some poor schmuck whose name we shall not speak to throw a game to finally stop the streak.
SEC Honk, will the day ever come when you realize how you appear so fucking stupid?Oh..oh...wait...are we talking only about this year? My bad. Yeah, Ohio State really lined up some toughies, as did Michigan.
First, you cite Alabama's tough scheduling in your defense. Then, you wanna attack UM's OOC... "this year"?
No, seriously... are you fucking high?
Michigan sheduled a (currently) top-ten team OOC this year. Uhm.... wanna help me out with Bama's OOC schedule here?
Uhm, Sam... Ohio State went to an airport to play an OOC game against a team from a major conference, in a different time zone, who has won and competed for national championships in the last 20 years.
Playing The Citadel caused Auburn tons of grief...some say it cost them a shot at the NC a few years ago. But when Wisconsin barely scrapes by the same school, that's okay?
No, seriously... are you fucking retarded?
Why don't you do a search of this forum of the name Wisconsin, and see how "OK" everyone feels about Wisky.
Most people agreed Wisky was ranked way too high in the early polls. When they struggled against Citidel, the pollsters were chomping at the bit for a reason to dock them. And Sam, I'm not sure if you follow college football, but when Wisky did eventually stumble hard, which most anticipated they would, what happened to them in the polls?
Remind me again?
Oh, that's right -- they got hammered by the pollsters.
What happened to Florida after they lost 2 games? They stayed in the top 15. And I challenge you to name a team that hopes to compete with a softer OOC schedule than Florida.
Oh, and where are those abslutely laughable OOC games that Florida scheduled being played, anyway?
4 OOC games... yet not one roadie in the bunch. Seriously, SEC Tard... explain how the SEC is playing on a level field with the rest of the country?
Until the NCAA fixes this problem (and yes, it's a problem), teams that play no road games OOC should be ineligible for any BCS bowls.
Sam -- how can you even sit there with a (presumably) straight face and try to defend the travesty that is SEC scheduling?
Depending how you feel about FSU, it could be argued that Houston is Bama's toughest OOC game. Newsflash -- Houston was Oregon's easiest OOC game. After Houston, take a big guess what happened, Sam? Check this out -- the Ducks got on a plane, and they flew to the home of a major conference power, and played them in their building.
Bama did the same thing, right?
Oh, wait... no, they didn't. So, why exactly haven't you shut the ever-living fuck up yet? Could you explain your logic behind failing to shut the fuck up? Is at as flawed as "but Ohio State and Michigan didn't schedule very tough, either"?
Maybe you're right...Big Ten teams shouldn't play those kinds of games (The Citadel, Appalachian State)...'cause Big Ten schools aren't good enough! Stay within your own weak conference and add those local powerhouse underlings Akron and Youngstown State and Western Michigan.
No doubt, Sam. I couldn't agree more. Rather than taking on the Citadel and Appy State, they should soften up their schedule with Western Carolina and Louisiana Monroe. Or maybe Western Kentucky, Troy, and Florida Atlantic. Maybe those overrated Big 10 schools could drop some haymakers if they scheduled those guys at home every year, eh?
If you really don't see that playing a powerhouse Oklahoma team in Norman is equivalent to playing Texas in Austin, y'all are dumber than dirt.
What the hell are you talking about?
I think the point that people who don't view the world through SEC-Colored Glasses is making, is that if you really don't see that playing a powerhouse Oklahoma team in Norman IS NOT equivalent to playing Western Carolina and Louisiana Monroe at home, y'all are dumber than dirt.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

Dins: This is why we have actual conferences....if your conference wasn't a piece of shit you wouldn't have to schedule four powerhouses.
This is fucking stupid already.
You're a complete dumbass and contradict yourself at every turn.
You're a blowhard....on a keyboard???? Hilarious.
better yet...UF played the number one schedule last year and under your shit-stupid rules...they were INELIGIBLE???

Nice dodge.....under your board bitch rules Uf would have been INELIGIBLE with the NUMBER ONE SOS last year.Dinsdale wrote:T REX wrote:if your conference wasn't a piece of shit you wouldn't have to schedule four powerhouses.
Dude, you totally missed a memo...
Your conference is the one that never needs to make excuses.
Explain that dipshit. Any other great ideas?

Based on the venues alone ...Sudden Sam wrote:Nobody...I repeat nobody would consider playing Oregon in Eugene to be anywhere near as big or tough a game as playing a top level Oklahoma team in Norman.
You're kidding, right? Even as an OU fan, with both teams being equal, the home field goes to Eugene. Damn, dude. Get a grip.

Nobody except for people who actually follow college football beyond what Lee Corso and Chris Fowler tell us.Nobody...I repeat nobody would consider playing Oregon in Eugene to be anywhere near as big or tough a game as playing a top level Oklahoma team in Norman.
Lemme check my math here...
One of the loudest stadiums in CFB
+
Flying to the upper northwest part of the country
+
Playing a consistently good team with offensive firepower
+
Pac 10 refs

Very difficult road game. Hell, just the first two factors alone I cited are what typically define what a tough road game is all about.
Actually Sam, yes, a lot of people would consider it AT LEAST just as tough.
You do realize that there are opinions on college football outside of the southeast, right? And you do realize that some of these opinions might actually DIFFER from yours, right?
Profound. I know.
Traveling to Norman vs traveling to *gulp*....Oregon?????

Oregon is a tough place to play, no doubt. But OU's record at home under Stoops is 51-2 with both losses bone-chillingly embarassing (OSU & TCU). Unfortunate-name Family Memorial Stadium is underrated as a tough venue for visitors but the main reason it has been tough is the quality of the teams that have played there.
I give the edge to Oklahoma.
You're all shocked, I'm sure.

As far as Ducksfan goes, you're preaching to the chior, bro.
Last I checked, U of O's last trip there resulted in a very resounding "L." Something about getting run over... All Day.
Sudden Sam wrote:I don't think Oregon has played a monster OOC schedule every year
No, they certainly don't. Of course, that cause would be assisted quite a bit if every SEC team not named Mississippi State didn't grow a vagina every time the AD's caller ID showed a 541 area code.
Around these parts, the goings-on of the AD/scheduling department aren't a terribly well-gaurded secret. What's also not a closely gaurded secret is just how fucking cowardly the SEC is.
No, really.
For the last couplefew years, we've heard the stories of the extensive talks with Georgia. But when it came time to throw some ink on some paper, you're never guess which primary and secondary sexual characteristics UGA adopted? C'mon, take a big guess.
Dude -- not a day goes by that Oregon isn't on the phone with the SEC, top to bottom. It's been a running callout for many, many years. And who stepped up to the plate? Freaking Mississippi Freaking State(who got rolled in both buildings).
Tennessee hasn't backed out of negotiations yet... RACK them. No one else in the SEC even answers the phone. But boy, get Troy on the phone and they can't find a date fast enough.
OU? Not only did a H&H, but did it on short notice (in CFB scheduling terms, anyway). Michigan? They're a hot ticket, and it took 11 years to get both ends done, but it got done. We also hear all the rumors of games in the works -- Nebraska is a hot name right now. The WAC has lost some luster over recent years, but when Fresno and Boise were consistantly rocking the poills... well, whaddaya know...
But where's the SEC?
Too busy playing Middle Tennessee to pick up the phone.
Go ahead and whine and bitch all you like, SEC. But at the end of the day, the onus is on YOU.
Why is that so hard to understand?
YOU.
The PAC10, B11, B12 and the others aren't the ones targeting you for all of this ridicule... YOU are. YOU are the ones creating the problem, and no amount of bashing other conferences is going to change that. And those other conferences, under present rules, can't put a gun to your head and make you play somebody.
That's all on YOU.
C'mon, let's bury the hatchet, SEC. There's been enough tension between you and the other conferences for long enough... time to put an end to it. Unfortunately, there;s nothing any of the rest of us can do about it... only YOU can.
We're eagerly awaiting those phone calls, SEC.... you know, if you can take time out from your busy schedule of Florida Atlantic and Troy.

So, because the teams in the SEC (outside of the top 2, maybe 3) are consistantly overrated, thus inflating your SOS, you don't feel the need to travel outside of a 500 mile bubble to play anyone, including a traditional power or other large national team? Gotcha. Before you start laughing about anyone's homefield advantage, take a step out and experience something other than the same thing, over and over and over.

memo to all: It is Killian's contention that the SEC is OVERRATED meaning there is a conference that is better.....I'm listening....this should be very entertaining. No, the teams are overrated due in large part to the collective blow job they recieve at the beginning of the year from the media.
You calling anyone dumb is rich, after some of the shit you've thrown on these boards.

Wow, this is a ...
SEC fan running their mouth, with no intention of ever backing it up, yet quick with a host of excuses why they don't walk the walk...
Big suprise.
Save it. Seriously, just save it.
As much as you love the "parrot" card, there's no better working example than "our conference is so good, we just beat each other up!"
SQUAWWWK!!!!
And this is why SEC fan is a joke.
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, you might wanna prove it?
I mean, if the upper echilon of the SEC is so great, and the rest of us just don't understand, then why not show us the light? Humor us a little...
Since the SEC is so superior, why not take that act on the road for all the world to see?
I mean, oif the SEC is SO MUCH better, then why not dial up USC, Texas, Michigan, or OSU? After all, if you're that much better, it shouldn't be a problem, right? Then, after demolishing those usuallly-strong teams from other conferences every year, if the SEC Champ comes in with two losses, pollsters can be justified in voting them up to #2 and giving them a BCS Bowl shot, right?
Then, the whole world can see the complete dominance that IS the SEC, rather than just the chosen few who happen to root for the SEC? Maybe give us all a glimpse outside of our crack-fuelled world, and give us a firsthand look at God's Chosen Conference? Maybe take on the mantra of "anyone, anytime, anywhere," rather than "Florida Atlantic, but only in our house."
Just a thought...
It just seems like SEC Fan is really bitter about all of the insults lobbed at his conference for their scheduling, yet there's a really really simple solution to the matter, and it's easily within your grasp.

OVERRATED
And I said the staff Weis hired was better, not that he was a better hire. Get it right, douchstain.
But you have tons of cred. You can't back up any of your claims and you have no defense for the SEC's pussy OOC schedule. Anytime someone comes at you, it's the same response:
READ THE SIG.....NATIONAL CHAMPS.......NUMBER ONE SOS.....
Epic shit man, epic.
So from now on, I'll just respond the same way you do. All caps, no substance.
OVERRATED

You look stupid complaining about someone schedule when its ranked NUMBER FUCKING ONE!!!!!
Do you see the insanity in it? No? I'm not surprised. I'm done spanking you today. Go play with someone else and take the word "tard" out of your pathetic vocabulary. Any questions?
