for the love of christ, if nd really wanted to honor the 77 team this season, they would NOT have wore those stone age green unis this weekend, considering the current state of the program. if it wasn't for a putrid ucla squad handing the game to the irish, we're talking about 0-8 and the sky has fallen.

war suiting up the gipper because it can't get any worse.

and wasn't the whole appeal of the green jerseys in the past was that it was a gameday surprise to the players? now captain douche is trying to dilute it into an all week thing and now it's just silly.

i have nothing against third jerseys, but i have never seen a program start frothing at the mouth over an alternative jersey quite like notre dame.

and they fucking suck in them. go fucking figure.

I didn't watch much of the game or hear the story with their gear...weren't those the unis they wore in Montana days? Didn't they wear those in the Cotton Bowl?

They were pretty damn ugly. Those pants were hurtful on the eyes.

Exactly. They wore those hideous unis 30 years ago and wore them yesterday to honor that '77 ND team.
Whatever.
FIGHT ON!
