CU owns the South
When was the last time a team from the north won all their games against the south? It has been a long freaking time. Congrats to the Buffs, glad they are representing for the north since my 'skers have shit the bed so much against the south they are sleeping in the walk-in closet.

Without looking it up, I would guess KSU in 1998...until they lost to A&M in the XII Championship.Danimal wrote:When was the last time a team from the north won all their games against the south?

Nebraska did it in '01. Their only conference loss that year was to CU. (I seem to recall the score being 62-36 or something along those lines.)IndyFrisco wrote:Without looking it up, I would guess KSU in 1998...until they lost to A&M in the XII Championship.Danimal wrote:When was the last time a team from the north won all their games against the south?
Not sure if anyone's done it since then, although KU should do it this year too, considering they don't get UT or OU.

Oh yeah, those Horns are a beast of a team this year. K St. showed what Texas really is this year.
Okie St. is a tougher draw then UT would be.
Texas is definitely lucky their noncon and north scheds are forgiving. Otherwise they'd be looking at several losses this season. I'd be very surprised if they get by OSU, Tech, and ATM unscathed. What wouldn't surprise me is if there are some staffing changes after this season. How many times was Swift wide-open in middle of the field? On the plus side McCoy did show some nads.campinfool wrote:Thank the scheduling gods that this is a year Texas does not have to face Colorado, Kansas, or Missouri. Otherwise a disappointing season could have turned pretty pathetic.
I can't believe we made yet another guy Big12 player of the week, especially hurts that I'm playing against Charles in fantasy-league. His ridiculous game is going to probably get me a Loss.

don't let the series with Ohio State fool you, Texas rarely plays anyone good OOC.
when any one else plays Rice or Houston they are patsies, but when UT plays them they are "traditional SWC rivals".
