Seer, no smack just a question.
Again this isn't smack, but honestly, could it not have gone any other way between those two teams? I'm kicking myself for not calling my shot on this board this week. As soon as UCLA beat Cal last week I was like "well WSU's got next week in the bag." Is this season a microcosim for the entire KD era or what?

"Coach" Steve Lavin might lose to the Cal State-Northridges of the world, but at least he could get to the Sweet 16.
Dorrell just sucks. i've seen his act at Colorado and even with Denver. he's a Neuheisel crony minus the Slickster's "charisma".

The thing with Dorrall is that he has done the same thing for so long. Winning just enough to keep his job while shitting the bed often enough to drive Bruin-fan nuts. Now UCLA will have to beat another good team to make-up for losing to another meh one. Otherwise Dorrall's ride could be over.

Wow, it's like deja-vu all over again. This is what ND fan was experienceing in 2004. Lose to BYU, beat Michigan. Lose to Purdue, beat Tennessee.Danimal wrote:The thing with Dorrall is that he has done the same thing for so long. Luckily Ty shit the bed against Pitt, and USC took care of business, as usual.

I get what you're saying about '04, but at this point I'd gladly take another season like '04 over what we're going through right now.Killian wrote:Wow, it's like deja-vu all over again. Factoring everything in, I wouldn't. We knew this season was coming a long time ago, although we didn't think it was this bad.
Ty was getting his ass kicked on the field, with a bunch of upper classmen (save Darius and Brady) while also blowing goats on the recruiting front.
Granted, I never want this type of season, but there are a good things. A lot of young guys are getting time to play and develop, and Weis is putting together a class that will rival what Vinny did. At least on paper.
