They don't say where that was from, but I'm thinking it's got to be Alabammy or somewhere down south. All I know is if someone is stupid enough to get behind that sign not knowing when the players are going to come charging through, she'll can expect a visit from Chuck Darwin any day now. I was just in line at the bank, and this "story" was being blared to me. It was mentioned that earlier that week she was in a car wreck - car completely totaled.

See Sam, in there here non-Southern states, we have a system to educate ourselves. It's been in place for quite some time now.

Us Yankee folk refer to this system as "school." Readin', ritin', rithmatic... that place.

And way back when, when we were in school, they taught us about stuff that happened in the past. One of those lessons they taught us was about a great big group of people from the region known as the South decided that the United States was a bad place to live, and they and their cousins, with the aid of the Negroes could do better on their own.

This not only proved to be a dumb decision, but a fatally flawed one. Resulted in some remodeling of some major Southern cities, and a little redistribution of wealth.

Here's a partial list of people who were intelligent enough not to declare war on the US on US Soil:

- Any State North of the Mason-Dixon Line

- Puerto Rico

Yup, you read that correctly, but I'll repeat it, since Southerners, while apparently enthused about "educating themselves," might possibly be a little slow at it...

So, to reiterate...

Puerto Rico has BODE on the South. We won't even get into the BODE the Northern Folk have, since that would be long-winded, even by my lofty standards.

I'll just leave Northern BODE at this...

Woman charged with DWI after repeated honking

(November 1, 2007) — A Wayne County woman early today was charged with drunk driving after repeatedly honking her car horn in trailer park in Ontario, Wayne County.

Rachel M. Weaver, 26, of Ontario, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more, according to Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies. She was also ticketed for misusing her horn.

Weaver is accused of driving through Orchard Grove Trailer Park in Ontario while honking her car horn continuously, deputies said. The incident reportedly occurred just before 3 a.m.

Weaver took a breathalyzer test which showed that she was driving with a blood-alcohol content of .21 percent, which is more than twice the legal threshold for DWI the legal threshold is .08 percent, deputies said.

Weaver was arraigned in Ontario Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond, deputies said.
