BTW, I totally agree with KC. What the fuck was CU thinking only rushing 3 guys nearly every play? Didn't they see how well that worked out for Nebraska?
Oh well. I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to KU/MU. This has got to be the first time the Border War has actually mattered in 30-some years (assuming both make it in unscathed).
As for the Buffs, if they can beat a feisty Iowa St. in Ames and put the final nail in Callahan's coffin, I'll be more than happy with Year 2 of the Hawkins era. Going from 2-10 to 7-5 and a bowl berth would be a nice step forward.
Border war ALWAYS matters
0-9 and a win at KU makes a season. this isnt auburn-bama, where after the game people go on with their lives, we fuckin hate KU and their piece of shit fans 365 days of the year. paul Quantrill should have a holiday named after him, for gods sake!

heh heh. I meant matters on a national level, but you probably knew that. I totally feel you, though. I know nobody is going to care about the cripple fight that is CU/NU this year, but you best believe that it matters to us.
I wonder what KU fan is saying about the Arrowhead decision, now.
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

I don't know about other KU fans, but i'm not sure it makes a difference. Assuming (huge assumption b/c Okie State is a landmine and ISU looks like a totally different team now, plus MU's history in Manhattan) both teams win out, I think MU would be a slight point-spread favorite in either location. They've played a much tougher schedule than Kansas, they've looked better against common opponents so far, and they rolled KU last year. There's no evidence to suggest Missouri isn't the better team right now.
Maybe it costs KU an edge (i happen to think it's negligible) but if ever there was a year to have a neutral location for a KU-MU game, what better season than this one? The city will be nuts.
