Actually I was just thinking we could sticky all of Trixie's SEC rants and revisit them every year. We probably all owe him an argument regarding how our conference should be able to compete with the SEC.

But really, this was a tough game. I kept thinking we were going to turn it around like we did last week. Juice played pretty well tonight and our defense looked inept. Course, the three interceptions kept them on the field and Boeckman played like a first-year QB last night. As noted, it was a great run and not too bad to be 11-1 or 10-2 after last year's run.

Zook might actually be turning things around and that's kind of scary.

Lets get it on Wolverines.

Danimal, you are alright.

Uh, no, tOSU wasn't "manhandled," idiot.

If Williams doesn't convert any one of those 3rd downs, they would have had to give the ball back to tOSU, and who knows what would have happened. Not to mention Tressel's timeout, which led to Illinois going for it, instead of punting. All of that shit was huge, and it all happened to go Illinois' way.

If those two teams play 10 times, tOSU wins 6 of them, at least. Especially in their own house.

Ohio State turned the ball over three times. Illinois had none, and no penalties except one, in the fourth quarter. Illinois played a perfect game, but they "manhandled" tOSU about the same way Colorado "manhandled" Oklahoma.
If's and "who knows what would have happened".....uhhhh sure....guess what pal. We do know what happened. Bode.

Wow.....again....I'll call it the T Rex factor. Arguing with me just to argue. I watched the game dude.

I'll make this easy for those who do not understand....holding the ball for the last eight minutes.....converting 3 third downs and a fourth IS MANHANDLING you physically. If you disagree, so be it.

The illini had the ball for something like 13 or 14 minutes of the fourth quarter. 23 rushes and only 3 pass attempts.

man·han·dle (mnhndl)
tr.v. man·han·dled, man·han·dling, man·han·dles
1. To handle roughly.
2. To move or handle by manpower alone

230 yards rushing for Illinois......osu was manhandled. period.

edit: And radio.....for shits and giggles.....I looked at the stat shet for OU-CU....COlorado had 381 totals yards to OU's 230.....uhhh dude.....I think you should be quiet.....the T REX factor is causing you to talk out of your arse.....and get whacked....but continue on if you must.

Opponents, including of course PSU, should dispense with the soft zone coverage against the Illini. If you leave guys like Benn uncovered in the slot, they'll kill you.

What the Illini need now is a little consistency. They are an experienced squad after this year. They should be a force in the Big 10 next year.

Apparently the OSU defensive coaches put the defensive gameplan they used for UF in the title game in...soft zone in terms of rushing 3 or 4 and dropping 7 leaves you open for the QB draw and stuff...

the killer in the 4th quarter was OSU blitzing constantly to get pressure on Juice...well he wasn't going to throw...memo to Heacock...how about a spy on him...on 3rd and 7 Freeman and James L blitz up the A and B gap...all the OL had to do was turn them to the outside...which they did and of course Juice goes for the 1st down...if they play a typical 4/3 type of front they stop it...

hats off to ILL they played a whale of a game...they are much better than people give them credit...props again to ILL...

OSU needs to defeat Michigan and get to the Rose...depending on how things shake out heck with 1 loss and if enough dominoes fall you never know...but of course a Rose Bowl game against more than likely an At large is fine with me at this point...

Rumors floating that the tOSU/UM winner will play the USC/ASU winner in the Rose Bowl, given that the Pac-10 At-Large team doesn't slip up afterwards.

This totally sucks because tOSU's schedule was its strongest in years this year. And for the next five or six seasons, it will be total dogshit. No way tOSU even stands a chance at ever sniffing the top ten. I dread having to listen to scholars like T Rex prove that point with tactical arguments and modest facts.

Doesn't Hawaii somehow throw a wrench into that discussion if they win out? If they finish top 12 in the BCS, doesn't that put them in as an at-large? If Michigan beats Ohio State and wins the Big Ten, I'd have a hard time believing the Buckeyes with two losses to end the season will be an at large. If Hawaii gets one at-large spot, the other spot will either go to the second place Pac-10 or the loser of the Big XII title game...which could be Oklahoma, Kansas or Missouri.

The Big Ten doesn't deserve two BCS spots. If Ohio State beats Michigan, like expected...they'll be a good rep in the Rose Bowl. Much better than Michigan in my view...

Sour grapes.....again....someone has to be the voice of reason. You NORMALLY schedule decent teams with traditional powers mixed in. This is common knowledge. This year....Kent, Akron, I-AA, and a crap UDub team....combined with a weak looking conference schedule.....what do you want? The stupid thing is none of you disagreed. You went 10-0 on the heels of the 63rd ranked schedule. So what? It just so happens that the Big 11 was overrated last year and this year....well, I don't think so much this year.....Michigan may win the Big 11 title after losing to a I-AA team. Scary.

I never said any of that crap you are implying. This year.....your schedule is dogshit and tOSU isn't really that good. Move on.

Props to Illini, they played a hell of a game....No props to the OSU Defensive staff. 3/4 of the game I'm yelling at the TV "cover the middle of the field".

On to those people up north and another B-Ten championship...................................
