So I finally found the US Autobahn - It's I-95 N out of MIA.

Made it from MIA to Deerfeild beach in about 35 minutes - and going 80, cars are passing me like I'm standing still.

The other interesting thing is there are cars pulled over everywhere - no cops, just cars pulled over parked on the side of a 5 lane speedway.

And Unrack American Airlines and their 90 minutes late into MIA as well. And the extra 45 to get the fucking luggage off - just fucking icing.

Also I-75 from Naples to Ft.Lauderdale aka Alligator Alley---- posted 70 MPH--I'll do 80 and have everyone
whizzing by-- the credo must be "keep 'em moving" !

You can't rifle through people's luggage too fast or you're liable to miss some really good shit. These things take time.

I never, ever check luggage - unless I have to bring gear.

In this case I had to bring gear. And the gear is going back via Fed X.

Next stop Dallas Tue & Wed.

Headhhunter should offer to buy me drinks.

RACK!

However, I don't want to hear any bitching about 90 min. layovers. Everytime I have a connecting from Heathrow through JFK or that Miami constantly undercontsruction piece of shyte, I end spending the night behind a freaking poker machine because there's no hotel available and I always miss my connection while we sit on a tarmac in freaking London.

RACK, but it does depend on what road you're on. I've averaged 95MPH from LA to Vegas when I've had other cars to run with (so I'm not the only one on the road going that fast), but if you're on one of the state highways going north/south, there's cops in every small town just waiting for someone to roll through at 10MPH over the speed limit. I-15 is definitely a drag strip between LA and Vegas though, as is I-80 once you get outside Reno.
