tOSU vs UM
Wow, this second half has been pretty inept. tOSU's offense looks like they are trying not to lose and UM looks incapable of moving the ball.

You won the game kid, why the vitriol?
Congrats, enjoy the win, why let the insults fly?
Win with class.

Exactly, win with class. Why can't your coach show some class after the game year after year. This tradition deserves more than what he shows after the games. I hope he comes back for more punishment next year.WolverineSteve wrote:Win with class.
Don't get me wrong, I respect you guys and think you are some of the higher quality posters on this board but when Mike Hart runs his mouth after last years game that the better team didn't win, I have to enjoy this. Two or three four year starters shut out, let me enjoy it a little bit.

I didn't see the end, I was in here posting the congrats thread. If he bailed on the handshake, that is weak. I think the guy is really getting bitter as the losses mount, no excuse though.Sky wrote:Exactly, win with class. Why can't your coach show some class after the game year after year. The Henne goose egg will be his legacy. Hart was ineffective today but played well in the series before today. Hart is very emotional, maybe too much so. But I think most teams would love to have him on their team, the hatred for him is a sign of that.
Again congrats, enjoy it, bask in it. I know a four game streak is monumental in this series. I'd be flying high if I were you all.

llllllloyd jalopy rides off into the foggy sunset. fitting. if he doesn't retire he NEEDS to be fired. all these horse shite encomiums about how he's earned the right to choose when to leave comes from ppl who don't realize a 1-6 record against jim tressel is a sign of incompetence. getting out coached is one thing thing when you're fielding teams of equal talent, but lloyd's shit the bed when he's had the better team. that wasn't necessarily the case this year, but 1-5 doesn't leave a lot of room for mitigating evaluation. jalopy's been at michigan for 13 years, and only seven of those were good. seven years doesn't get you a fucking statue. just because a guy avoids getting fired at a place that's never fired anyone does it mean he's a legend. i really don't care if he and chad henne are found face down in their bathtubs tomorrow morning.
i don't think there's any room to criticize hart. he talks shit to get himself and his team fired u, and he generally backs it up when his line blocks one or two players from the opposing defensee. the problem is his teammates are generally douches who bitch and moan about not having the ball thrown their way and then drop three balls in the ohio state game. that first down manningham dropped on third down near the end of the half effectively ended michigan's day.
that gholston sack on henne in the 4th summarized tressel vs. carr. that thought occurred while we technically "had a chance" to still win. oh, and long gave up a sack, though he probably wouldn't have had his fourth year starting senior qb had enough pocket presence to step up.
the future looks bright, but only b/c it looks so dim. every time there's been general consensus just after the game about who will win next year the opposite has generally come to pass. this was most definitely our game to win right after losing last year. the last time it seemed this despondent was after 02. i thought no chance in hell we'd win, just like there's no chance we'll win next year. sigh.
jalopy reworded his contract so his assistants will be paid through 08, even if they're not on staff next year. why would that be necessary? aren't they so good they could find a job somewhere else were jalopy not to return? mike debord should decline any money from um athletics. wanker.
oh, congrats osufan, though i'm sure you forgot this game is actually supposed to mean something. this game must be like waking up in the morning for you, or taking a shower, something that invariably happens whether you plan for it or not. i'll find myself an osu shirt soon and post a pretty picture.

I haven't seen a Michigan team look this bad in years.
