jerk
The playoffs are just around the corner, friend...can you feel it?
At least one football team from Michigan can do something in the postseason...
ol' marine city won their first ever state title. i'd be ecstatic except [1] i only return to that shithole once a summer to waterski and [2] lsu lost, so now i have to live in fear of les miles coaching michigan for the next 20 years.
none of these kids have older brothers/sisters i graduated with, so i don't care. but that dude in white is going to notre dame next year. it's only fitting he learns how to handle losing now before fat weis starts bragging about how this year's team is the first since 94 to win their last two games of the season. ooh, duke and stanford.....

interesting aside from the game: our coach and their coach were roommates at illinois. they lost to ucla in the rose bowl like 49-3. losers.

what in the world is that helmet logo on the black helmet above?
i'm gonna guess a harpoon but looks more like a boat ramp on state highway 9 for Lake Thunderbird in OK.

it's a harpoon. we're the marine city mariners. our rival is the saint clair saints. the powers-that-were in east china, michigan were anything if not creative. mostly they just built boats, so we have ramps for those, too.King Crimson wrote:what in the world is that helmet logo on the black helmet above

Here they have the Newport Harbor Sailors and the Corona Del Mar Sea Kings. The Sailors have always just had an American flag on the side of their helmets. The Sea Kings used to have a Raiders look a like uniform with a shield on the helmet and a picture of Tritan or Poseidan on the shield. Now I think the Sea Kings have gone away from the Raideresque uniforms to just a dark blue helmet with a Tritan or Poseidan decal on it
