bought the Buddy Holly set off iTunes

Post by King Crimson »

i really dislike iTunes and think it sucks out loud for managing files, but i use it from time to time since i've had some gift certificates from Apple's faux revolutionary/no more freeware rah rah nonsense (iTunes has nothing that isn't a major label and a lot of stuff that's incomplete, like 11 of 12 songs off a Gram Parsons LP). the illegal route is so much better, and the compression rates/sound quality are also way better.

However, Buddy Holly and the Crickets rule.

I've never seen a Buddy Holly compilation that included 'Down The Line'. His best tune IMO, but 'True Love Ways' always makes it on :? .

If you're in that mode, try giving Johnny Burnette a crack. Everything he did was pure brilliance.
