yo seer: MSU v UCLA

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

...tonight in the CBE Final. I'm looking forward to this game.

An exhibition, back-to-earth loss as well as a hard-fought win over Mizzou heading into this game has made State a tougher and better team for it. Neitzel and Raymar Morgan playing very well coming into the game. UCLA seems to have a scary mix of experienced and young talent. I just hope State can keep it close.

Too bad there's no Dorrell factor in this one.

Umm, I'm hearing Neitzel will be out sick for this game. That sorta puts a damper on things.

Wow. Very pleased how we came back in 2nd half. Luc's 3 pointer was the back breaker.

Very physical game.

MSU will beat some people on their way to the tourney.

I guess I didn't realize Collison wasn't back. That made the loss a little more disappointing. That and the fact Neitzel saw decent playing time. Typical MSU though...dominate 99% of the game, only to lose in the last couple/few minutes. UCLA didn't even have a lead until the last 3 or 4 mins. T

This is a VERY physical team. Love was getting bounced around like a pinball - even bloodied the guy up in just the first couple minutes of play. He settled down though and held his own in the 2nd half.

Try the last minute. If I'm UCLA fan I feel pretty good that without 2 key backcourt players the Bruins were able to claw their way to a W against a pretty good team. If I'm MSU fan I don't feel too bad about the L but I do have concerns with, as Mgo pointed out, the lack of closing a game which Sparty has had some issues with of late.
