Maybe it's just me ucant, but you seem a bit bitter.

Might I suggest that you lose that chip off your shoulder and enjoy the ride for a bit?

The haters are always going to hate... kinda' what we do here... but at the end of the day the scoreboard speaks for itself.

I roll my eyes when I see my nephews' baseball games where score isn't kept, outs aren't tracked, everyone gets an AB, and everyone "goes home happy." Losing damages the psyche of these "fragile" kids, so God for-fucking-bid if we let them compete.

I roll my eyes when the state of CT makes it illegal for High School football teams to run up the score on overmatched teams. God for-fucking-bid if we let them compete at this level either. These kids are fragile, Wags, don't you know?

Now, this logic of pussydumb has spread to the NFL. These pampered millionaires are being embarrassed on national TV. The Hatetriots are rubbing their little noses in dogshit. God for-fucking-bid if we let them compete at this level either. We're at the point where Brady better watch out because these pussy's street cred is being damaged. They gotta go and and break his fucking leg because God for-fucking-bid someone is actually better than you at your job. By a wide margin. I'll put this into terms even you can understand, KC Style. I am not bitter. Everyone who's not a NE fan is bitter. Why --> because we're better than you at a fucking sport.

I mock the pussies who cry we're running up the score. This is not T-Ball. This is not U of Miami football from the 80s. This is professional sports. I am thoroughly enjoying this. Why??? The whole country is melting because the Hatetriots are a bunch of meanies.

Did you really read my post, Wags? Really? Do you not find humor in someone taking intentionally safeties?

Rack Thomas Jones for being the first back to hang a 100 yard game on the Steelers in something like 3 years. Rack the Jets for playing their asses off on defense. One of these days Clemens is going to get up to game speed. And when he does, the Jets are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

And unrack the Steelers return coverage. Way to part like the Red Sea at the worst POSSIBLE moment.

Now pardon me while I go throw up.

The Steelers have a very unimaginative offense. They run Parker only between the tackles, never outside where he might be able to break one with his speed. They also never throw the ball to him, hence he and the Pittsburgh offense struggle. The Steelers no longer have a dominate offensive line that can over come their predictable offensive play calling. Losing to AZ, the Jets, and almost last week to the Browns is a good indication of poor coaching.

I think "poor coaching" is a big fucking overstatement. Tomlin may not be Bill Belichik (yet), but he sure the fuck isn't Norv Turner. I mean seriously, did you watch the game today? They called a lot of stretch plays to the outside for Parker. The Jets just defensed them perfectly. As for Parker only being able to break big plays from the outside, did you see the record setting off tackle run Parker made in Super Bowl XL?

About all I'll agree with you on is that Parker should be involved in the passing game a whole lot more than he is.

BTW: Here's something you might want to file away. The Steelers never really had a "dominate" offensive line. What they had was a back in Jerome Bettis who covered up their inability to hold blocks by breaking tackles. Parker's inability to run like Bettis (even if he does lead the league in 100 yard games) simply exposes what was a previously existing flaw. Amos Zereoue's career as a starter in Pittsburgh out front should have told you.

The story on Parker has been the same for a couple of years. He doesn't break tackles in the backfield. He will carry the ball 10 times for 0 yards...but when he gets a crack, he takes it for a good 15-30 yards because of his excellent speed. All in all, I'm fine with that.

The OL has been as good as any other OL in the game in the past few years. I'd argue that they were great in 2005. Sure, Bettis was a battering ram, and he was healthy enough to carry the ball well that year...but they were just blowing defenses off the LOS on run plays.

This year, I've been impressed with them as well. They aren't great, but they are solid - UNTIL Max Starks gets in. He's a bust physically and mentally. He always hurts the team when he's in. Nice, friendly guy...but not a good offensive lineman. Since this is clearly Alan Faneca's last year with the Steelers, I expect them to be a lot worse for the next few years. He is a warrior, and his value is really being felt this year. He'll be missed.

I always get a chuckle when the Steelers lose a game, and everyone in the #7 jerseys are calling Ben "Worthlessburger" the next day. Note to Myopic Steeler Fan: you can't win every game. Sometimes losing a few games is the best thing that can happen to a team. In 2004, we sailed through the schedule, and got waxed by NE. In '05, we lost a goodly amount of games, and the team became more determined.

Win the division, then win the rest of your games. Learn from your losses long the way.

Personally, losing a few games out of division is exactly what I hope for every year. Almost every NFL team has a few good games in them per year, no matter how poor they might be overall. I don't expect the Steelers to win a SB this year...I think they can finish the third best team in the AFC...I certainly hope for more.

True, but you can't be dropping games to the Tards and the Yets and have any realistic postseason hopes.

Their post-season hopes are the same as the rest of the NFL = to lose by less than 21 pts to the Hatetriots.

It was brief, but it did happen. It lasted about as long as it took Cowher to realize that there wasn't the arm tackle out there that couldn't bring Amos down like a sack of potatoes.

Saw the highlights via ESPN over lunch- I noticed a lot of missed tackles from the Steelers against Jones as well some Jets receivers who were able to move the chains because of the missed tackles. Can't be a successful playoff team if you're not playing fundamental football during the 2nd half of the season. Losing games happens, unless you're the Patriots, but losing 3 road games against shitty teams is something I'd be a little concerned about for a team like the Steelers.

Something stinks in Pittsburgh and I'm not just talking about Stiller fans critique of their team. Don't fool yourselves, losing to the Jets and AZ is verrah Norv Turner like. Their play calling is way too predictable.

End of story............

I think it's great that BSmack started a post about the game when he knew full well that no Jets fans post in here simply to run his yap. Worked out well huh.

What exactly does that have to do with the fact that you ran your dick-sucker because you thought your boys had an easy W forthcoming and them subsequently stepping all over their own dicks and losing???

The FACT remains that you started a chest thumping thread against a non-existent fanbase.

I'm sorry, I forgot how that worked out for you.

Shine,

Dude's a last word freak. 15,000+ posts out front should have told you. I think he genuinely enjoys smacking for no other reason just because he's bored. Hell, it is Thanksgiving and both times you've mentioned him, he's responded in 18 minutes and 8 minutes. Loser just sits on this board all fucking day.

Go spend some time with your fucking family. That is, if they can stand you.

i think it's pretty fucking rich that shine feels he can get off on bsmack for the jets embarrassing the steelers when he, himself, picked pittsburgh in his week 11 picks as well. if you would have picked the jets, then that would have been one thing. i think everybody and their fucking mother had the steelers walking in through game. what we saw out of the week 12 jets we really should have seen in week 11. but it's the fucking nfl, and that happens to you once in a while.

by the way, nice job by your shit basketball team tonight. xavier. one real team in that absolute farce of a tournament that was loaded to your advantage to win it all and you fail to finish the job. looks like another year of horrible shooting, cheating, bountiful underachieving and wasted talent in bloomington. i hope purdue makes iu their bitches this year.
