As long as Missouri wins on Saturday over Oklahoma...I won't have a beef with either West Virginia and/or Ohio State in the title game. What would be crazy is if Pittsburgh somehow beat the Mountaineers in addition to Missouri losing to Oklahoma...it would Ohio State vs. ______
Could Georgia as an at-large get in the title game somehow? They end the regular season with 6-straight wins but I'm sure if LSU won the SEC title game, they'd have a claim. If the chaos scenario happens (Missouri and West Virginia losing next week), it would fall down to Oklahoma (who would have two wins over Missouri), LSU (if they beat Tennessee), Georgia or USC (if they win over UCLA). Kansas with only one loss was eliminated yesterday.

Sam,
You have Florida ahead of not one, but two teams that they lost to? You’ve generally been a fairly credible poster. Why is it that when you come to the CFB forum, you check your brain at the door?

Mizzou # 1 BTW

YES OR NO....
USC should be ranked ahead of Oregon and Stanford...
YES OR NO, Goobs?
How about LSU? Should LSU be ranked ahead of Kentucky and Arky? YES OR NO?????
Dude, if you want to take a run at Sam, it's easy -- just figure out a way to incorporate "Eli Whitney," the "cotton gin," or "banjoes" into your post... and bonus points are awarded for mixing in anything to do with dentistry or family trees with few branches. It will be infinitely more æffective then the stupidity you just posted.

I’m sorry, Dinsy, I should have taken my time and added the obvious. Florida finished behind both of those teams in their conference.
Additionally, I was knocked woozy by the fact that Sam placed LSU behind tOSU. I think I been rope-a-doped.

I don’t know that I’m buying that, Sam. They lost to Georgia less than a month ago. At home.Sudden Sam wrote:Goober, RIGHT NOW, NEUTRAL FIELD. Florida may be more dangerous than I ranked them.

Don't shed too many tears... we would have gone into system shock if something bad didn't happen. That's two straight starting QBs down the shitter when we've been rolling to bigtime bowls... Kellen Clemens ring any bells?
Oregon was on some seriously borrowed time. I'm not sure if CFB fan in general knew how many redshirts were in the hamper, yet DD still had that offense looking unstoppable. If I wasn't a Heisman traditionalist, I'd say that Dixon's resume proves so clearly that he was BY FAR the best player, the Heisman should be a no-brainer. I would say that, except I think a player needs to finish the season to get the award.
Oregon would likely be #1 right now, if we play the If Game. Except that crazy little bit where it went from the no-brainer Heisman winner at QB, and in one game's time, we were into the 5th string QB, to throw to the 10th string recievers(even the redshirts ended up on the DL). Hell, there were snaps directly to the 3rd string running back(sidenote -- Chip Kelly sure looked like a genius OC with Dixon... while he had massive problems with lack of players, he's looked like a fucking moron since the moment DD went down).
But going from 1st string to 5th string in what was essentially 60 minutes of "football time" -- ain't a team on the planet that was going to survive that, especially with every skill position player except one injured(and I don't want to hear about Jaison Williams -- he was anything but "skilled," although he was the only other opening day "skill position" player still standing by the end of yesterday's game, and he probably should never show his face in the state after next weekend, because he's personally responsible for at least a 1000 yard reduction in passing yards this season... worst hands I've ever seen on a reciever, Pop Warner included).

Huh?
Lie much?
Even with a bunch of freshmen midgets at WR, Oregon was a better team on both sides of the ball than Mizzou, and I'm even more confident of that after last night Border Bore.
But, it was a two-man offense, both of which got dinged up in the same game. Without the Heisman QB, and with a banged up almost-All-American RB, it's Season Over Time. The "borrowed time" comment was in regards to another injury at a skill position... which happened twice in a few minutes.
At this point, Oregon doesn't belong in the top 25. The defense is playing extremely well right now, much better than early in the season, but if the offense is throwing up gooseeggs, defensive play means little.

HEY MOXIE, THE FACT THAT TIM TEBOW CAN THROW 20 SOMETHING TDS PASSES TELLS ME ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SEC THIS YEAR..IF HE WAS HERE PLAYNG FOR THE BUCKEYES HE WOULD BE A 2ND STRING SAFETY AT BEST...THE SEC IS PATHETIC

Actually, I hope that is what you're trying to say -- Fat Paul pile-ons are usually good for a laugh.
