Local Arkansas television station reporting that Dumbo will be the next coach for the Hogs.

Wow, if true. Big step down in my opinion.

It looks that way if you read the Auburn/Ark Rivals boards. I know he interviewed for the job in 1997 but Nutt was hired. He is from Ark and maybe he is still a little bitter that the boosters went behind his back to hire Petrino a couple years back.

The wounds from "Petrinogate" never healed IMO and there is some ongoing animosity between Tubs and the higher-ups. He has been flirting-around with other jobs for a while now. He is an Ark guy and it appears they're looking to throw some cash around. I'm not too surprised.

Not if Coach Ore-gahn, or whatever the freak his name is, goes to Allburn. Then there will be a 3-way tie for the SEC West.
