For some reason, you just know he tried to jump that scooter at least ONCE.

Only Keith Richards and George Jones are keeping me from a clean sweep.....

Are there any guys around the age of 40+ who do not have scars from jumping their bikes off of home made ramps ?
I remember my two boys coming home with scraped knees---
"what happened guys ?"

"oh nothing Dad--we just fell off our bikes"

Later I found the plywood and all in back of the garage.

...this pic is of course pre broken neck and many moons ago when the body still could do what the brain told it to do.

Absolute hero. In the 70s, when everything American seemed different and brilliant, Evel was KING. I shall be unscrewing my cane and drinking a toast to the man tonight.

Rack you very much Nishlord, he does harken back to a time when this country offered a little more than Justin Timberfake and Barney the faggoty purple dinosaur.

hero?

no. that is one of the most overused words there is and it cheapens it for real hereos.

that said evel was HUGE. there is not a kid from the 70s who didn't see him as a godlike.

wonder how many busted legs, arms, necks and bike frames he inspired.

rack him
