The losses to Kentucky and T-Tech are about equal.
But I can see losing to Ark and McFadden in what was going to be Nutt's last game a little more than I can the CU-loss.
But I will say this. OU definitely played better in its CCG. They won hands-down against a good Mizzou squad. They limited an offense nobody had limited this year. I'd say that right now OU is a better team than LSU, they dominated Okie State the week before and are playing some damn good football.
I could buy an argument for either team.
You gonna bark all day little doggie or are you gonna bite?
The loss to Tech seems to have made something click with the Oklahoma team. They've hit harder in the last two weeks than I've seen them hit in years. Plus, the power run game has improved two-fold. Still, I must echo the earlier opinion that they only have themselves to blame for not being in N.O. I would love for OU to get a shot at revenge with LSU (Stoops vs. Miles would be great, as well) but, alas, it is not to be.
Our running game is clicking well so far, but it could be better. I just don't feel like our offensive line, as talented and as f'ing BIG as they are, have more than about 3 1/2 brains between them. We're committing too many stupid-assed penalties right now to step onto the field in a National Championship game.
If we're able to get the necessary shot, I think that OU / LSU would be a Hell of a game. LOTS of tasty subplots there to talk about for the next month, too.
