Interested to see who they trade. Wasn't sure how tight they were against the cap. I knew matching Penner's offer sheet in the summer wasn't going to happen. I don't think Bryzgalov cost them much against the cap so waiving him didn't exactly give them a lot of money. Some team could get a very solid defenseman...Schneider or Beauchemin could anchor a power play and O'Donnell would be a nice stay-at-home veteran defender. Of the three, I can't imagine them trading Beauchemin. He ended up being a steal in the Fedorov trade. I don't know what O'Donnell's cap number is but he'd be a great short term pickup for the Wings since they never really replaced Markov.
