Les Miles v2

Post by BlindRef »

Mgoblog is saying that Michigan is making another run at Miles.

I don't know when this whole thing becomes too absurd. Who will look worse, Miles or Saban for the way they have handled coaching seraches if Miles comes to Michigan?
Those who stay will be champions.

I doubt the rumors are coming from anyone connected to the search. But if he'd listen, then why not talk?

He'll be rumored until a coach is named, and every 3-loss season hereafter.

mgoblog also mentioned mary sue coleman was taking the reins from martin. if that's true, then we've been right to worry about that smug asshole trying to hire from within. i don't fuck my sister, so i hope my school doesn't try to hire one of its own clowns. i'd generally watch the search unfold with patience, right. you don't want them to make a hasty choice. but every day without a coach is one closer to debord, english, or hoke turning us into penn state.

Ya your guy was majorly screwing the pooch on your search. If he wanted Miles he'd have closed the deal on him. Brady Hoke? Ya Ball is good this year. But he has been there several years and his overall record is lame.

Ya Kelly is an arrogant fucker, but you might want to make a move before Ark does.

Mendenhall, Peterson, Grobe, or Calhoun(Air Force) would be money-hires but could be hard to get away from their schools.

Graham from Tulsa would be worth looking-at.

How about Bud Foster from Va Tech? I know his name doesn't come-up much but he is an incredible DC.
You gonna bark all day little doggie or are you gonna bite?

Miles Issues Statement About Conversation with Michigan

(12/11/2007) BY http://www.LSUsports.net
BATON ROUGE -- LSU football coach Les Miles issued the following statement on Tuesday regarding the conversation he had with Michigan last week:

“I had a conversation with Michigan last week that covered a wide range of topics. I was doing nothing more than helping them with their search for a football coach, just as any loyal alumnus might do. It was nothing more than that.

“I’m not a candidate for that job and I will not be a candidate for the job. I was only assisting them in their search for a coach. I have a great job at a wonderful place, a place that my family calls home. It’s time that Michigan goes on with their search for a football coach. I’ll say it again, I’m going to be the coach at LSU next season.”

He needs to stop talking. No way does a coach that considers another job a dead issue constantly address it whenever he gets the chance. The more he talks, the bigger villian he'll be in Baton Rogue if he does leave. He better win that game or they'll run him out there.

Until there's another guy being introduced...the body is still twitching.
