I had a feeling.

Kurt Busch, the series champion and a Las Vegas native, qualified sixth and seemed jealous of Newman's speed.

"We've talked about how Newman goes into ludicrous speed before and mine was ridiculous speed," Busch said. "I was starting to see three 7's line up, but we came up a bit short. We had a cherry mixed in somewhere."

Let's go racing!

I'm gonna have to rack the west coast boy for the win. I'm a little miffed at Gordon right now though. A very good race, except for Jr. fans. I love that Vegas track, it's beautiful.

I heard both sides of the story and Ryan just drives his way and Jeff responded. Neither side really did anything wrong. Dale Sr. would spin either one of them out for pulling that love tapping.

Well it's just a small thing. I'll get over it. Sometimes Jeff acts like he's a little too big for his britches.
