Is there anything wrong (besides the $) with using multiple spyware/adware programs?
I've got WinAntiSpyware and am considering adding Webroot spysweeper. Reason being my system tells me that I've got a trojan horse.
I am a computer tard, any help is appreciated.
TIA

Not only is there nothing wrong with having multiple anti-spyware programs on there, you should have them. Before you spend more money though, I'd consider downloading the free version of Ad-aware and Spybot S&D. Both of these are highly ranked and generally do a great job. You should only have one running in the background scanning for crap at a time. You don't want to be running 2 or 3 background processes plus your virus detection or your computer will crawl because of them.
You should have an anti-virus software too, but for anti-virus you should just have one. There are some online scanners you can run if you suspect that your virus detection software is missing something or to verify you are clean.
