Book Ideas (SRO)

Post by RumpleForeskin »

Taking a road trip to New Mexico on Wednesday. Give me some ideas on what books to read. Political, fiction, non-fiction...anything.

You should just keep your eyes on the road. How are you going to get your Beast there...hitch-up trailer? Nestle this bad boy in the straw of her carrier:

Considering it as an option. I need to cleanse my brain of message board tomfoolery.

I guess there is no pass on the eve of Jesus' fake birthday. Thanks, man.

I'm just trying to help, my man. Are you taking her out to the desert in the hopes she'll sweat it off?

You keep pushing that same button in hopes to get a melty reaction out of me. How's that workin' for you so far? Insanity looks good on you, bro, although it does make me weep for your children.

Children? I think what PSU refers to as his "children" are what most of think of as floaters.

I've given you plenty of material. You're just a one trick pony.

And you? Got any pics of yourself you want to PM me, or will AP be jealous that he is not the only one who prefers feminine silk over male cotton.

When I think of Mikey's children, I think that baldness probably becomes them...

I think you've got it backwards. It's more likely that they will become bald.

Well, it's obvious who got the shaft by their employers on this Christmas Eve morning.

My boss and I gave the other employees the day off. We're both off until the 2nd. Sux for us today, but sux for them while I am in New Mexico hittin' the slopes during the day and then playin' some blackjack at night.

Hit the slopes? Just pack down some ice shavings on Shebeast's backside, and strap on the skis. No road trip necessary.

Been off work since last Thursday. My next day back is next Wednesday. 13 days away from the office does not suck whatsoever. But hey, it's good to see you guys are working hard.

Looks like I'm the only one in here today. I could have taken the day off but didn't want to burn a full day of vacation. It's cool though, cause I needed to come down to civilization today anyway to do some last minute food gathering at Costco, which is right around the corner. I'll prolly be gone by noon.

Poptart will be "hittin' the slopes" as well. He'll have to enjoy his Christmas Dog from a prison slop bowl, if he can't evade capture.

My departure time to the west side of the state has been delayed, but all in all, getting paid to cruise the internet and sip coffee for a few hours isn't a terrible way to spend one's holiday morning.

And sorry about the weather, BTW...

Festive holiday reads:

"The Book Of The Law" - Aleister Crowley
"The Prince" - Niccolo Machiavelli
"The Illuminatus Trilogy" - Robert Shea & Robert Anton Wilson
"Principia Discordia" - Malaclypse the Younger
"The Book of the Subgenius" - R.J. "Bob" Dobbs
THE BIBLE - Because all the works of all the science cannot equal the wisdom of cattle-sacrificing primitives who thought every animal species in the world lived within walking distance of Noah's house.
